Had a great time and location was perfect. We enjoyed Michael and Heathers art gallery. Beeb and Peep were well behaved and seemed like they were trained in the royal courts of China
Both Michael and Heather were charming hosts - very easy to talk with and very accommodating. We loved our walks to town from their location. Nice views from the windows too. Oh, and the beds were extremely comfortable.
Nice, comfortable, cozy space. Lovely hosts, very accommodating. Very private space. Lovely neighborhood. Walking distance to the Taos plaza.
Michael and Heather were lovely, welcoming hosts. They offered coffee to us, and also offered some of their pancakes (an unexpected but welcome treat). The room was beautifully furnished, comfortable and very quiet. The guest rooms and bathroom are on their own floor, which offers ample privacy. The bathroom has double sinks and a good, high-pressure shower. Would certainly recommend.
Warm welcome and helpful with parking arrangements for our big truck. Very clean and comfortable.
As everybody has already stated, Michael and Heather's house is beautiful and a great place to stay while in Taos. Heather greeted us at the gate and immediately helped us get settled. The suite upstairs is separate from their living area, so there is plenty of privacy. The bathroom is gorgeous and spacious, and there is a mini-fridge for your use outside the bedroom in the sitting lounge (also your own space). You can see cottonwoods out the windows and adobe walls of the few neighboring properties. Coyotes howling greeted us one early morning reminding us that there's plenty of green space quite close to the house. The location is very quiet and peaceful, partly due to the fact that it's near the road's dead-end. The neighborhood has some serious architectural eye candy houses that are quintessential Taos/Santa Fe. You can absorb it all as you walk the 10-minute distance to the Taos Plaza.
We had a 2 1/2 year old toddler with us with whom Heather was very patient (Michael was out of town for our stay). Toddler boy loved the two dogs, who were also (thankfully) quite patient with him. We spent a bit of time on their pretty outdoor patios enjoying the warm spring weather and the backyard. (Should you have children with you while visiting Taos, make sure to go to Twirl, an incredible toy/game store with outdoor and indoor play areas, right next to the Plaza.)
Great house, great value, great hosts. You can't go wrong here!
Michael and Heather's second floor guest suite with two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a foyer with a table, chairs and mini fridge, is large, clean, very comfortable, and separated from the rest of the house. We had very pleasant daily morning coffee and chats with our hosts, who were gracious and helpful. A wonderful introduction to airbnb!
