This condo has some of the best mobility in the city: the MARTA station is directly across the street and provides quick access to the rest of the city and the airport. From the door of the apartment, it takes 25 minutes to make it to the Atlanta Airport via MARTA.
The property is directly across the street from Woodruff Park on Peachtree Street. The building has an incredible roof that has some of the best views of downtown Atlanta.
The apartment has wifi for guests and cable television. There is a full kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer that can be used by guests. The main bedroom has a 40 inch LED flat screen on the wall.
There are several dinning options close by. Slice (pizza) and Sidebar are two blocks away, and Broad Street (directly behind the building and part of Georgia State's campus) has dozens of restaurants and options. The back side of the building is Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business and has a very large Bank of America on the first floor. There are several banking options within 1 block of the building. The building has 24/7 concierge at the front door.
There are parking options directly across the street and all around the building.
John was very obliging with our arrival time and coordinating the whole weekend. The space was perfect and the rood access was an incredible surprise! The location was so convenient for walking everywhere we wanted. We had the most perfect weekend thanks to this rental! :)
The only problem is a lack of parking. Enjoyed our stay.
Very clean, wonderful place to stay. Convenient location with subway station on the next block. Parking deck directly diagonal from building. Very easy to communicate with host. LOVED the rooftop view from the building. Highly recommended and will definitely use again!
A perfect place to stay in Atlanta. The apartment is indeed spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings and vistas of city. It is in a landmark Art Deco building with a wonderful lobby and lovely lifts. Don't miss visiting the roof for a stunning sunset. The location is central and convenient, close to the metro and walking distance to the Aquarium and other attractions. John was a welcoming and helpful host.
Apartment is fabulous. Very clean, modern, and super comfortable. John made the whole process very easy as well.
Located in a 1930s art deco skyscraper, with 24/7 front-desk person, and access to a roof deck with a beautiful view.
The apartment was not large, but was very centrally located. It's one block from MARTA's "Five Points" (Atlanta's "grand central") station, making for a 20min train ride from/to the airport, no transfers -- VERY easy to get to!
Both bedrooms have their own full bathroom. Amenities present include stove, microwave, fridge w/ water filter, cable, and even laundry. Beds were clean and comfortable, and hot water was quick and plentiful. The train and police cars were audible at night, but not enough to offset being so well-located.
Our conference at the Westin Peachtree took 10min to walk to. Sights, including CNN, Coca-Cola Factory, and Aquarium were under 20min walking distance.
John was very responsive via e-mail, AirBnb messenger app, and phone. He was able to accommodate our delayed arrival flight and late check-out/departure time.
I would easily stay here again. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our condo for the weekend!! John was great! We definitely would stay here again!!
Awesome experience! I always wanted to know what it would feel like to "stay" downtown (beyond a hotel) and it was great!
First off, John was a great host. Easy to get in touch with. When we arrived- he greeted us, showed us how around the building, and gave great pointers on where to go in Atlanta (as we had not been).
Very clean. Cable. Extremely cool building. (website hidden) it- if you have the chance!
Location, Location, Location:
Parked our car in a garage for a couple of days as we could access a lot by walking. Walking distance to the GA Aquarium, CNN, Coca- Cola Factory, Food, and Coffee. Also, walked to the Sun Dial restaurant (spins slowly overlooking Atlanta)- cool experience!
Overall, enjoyed the stay. First, time using Airbnb and I hope my next experience is just as great!
For my first time experiencing a BnB, I truly enjoyed it. A short walk from the Marta and access to so many eateries, I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The condo was just as described and meeting John was great. I have no regrets for switching from staying at hotels. John's condo has my recommendation.
John met us outside as we arrived. He escorted us up to his condo, then to the top of the building, awesome views of the city! Location was great as we went to Philips Arena, CNN, Coke, and Aquarium. I highly recommend this condo!
