Awesome stay. Soaking tub is great after a long day. They give you sleeping kit, robes, and fresh eggs and English muffins which my boyfriend and I enjoyed. Very close uber to downtown. In quiet area that is near lots of bars and restaurants. Kt is a super host. Made check in/out very easy. Even let us leave our luggage at their distillery (OOLA Distillery down the street) so my boyfriend and I could enjoy Seattle after our 11am checkout and before our late night flight. Highly recommend.

It was such a pleasure staying here. Everything was perfect and I loved that we had our own private entrance in the back as we didn't have to bother KT or Kirby. As everyone has already mentioned, it's in a great location and there's a lot of great food places to try around there. The only thing to watch out for is that there were some bugs/spiders that got in when we left the windows open a bit, but it's understandable as there are some bushes and shrubs around the room. Other than that, everything was great. The tub was amazing and you can tell that KT and Kirby thought everything out as they had a lot of things provided such as white robes, bath soap, and even fresh coffee beans, eggs, etc. I miss it already!

KT and Kirby's little garden apartment wsd the perfect hub for our little Seattle getaway. The tub is incredible, the chickens homey and yet quiet, and there's so much within walking distance. We loved our stay, ate at a nearby restaurant that KT recommended and truly had an unforgettable experience. Book your stay today. You will enjoy it, as we did.

Kt's house located in a very nice neighborhood with good restaurants and a coop grocery nearby, all in 5mins walk! The first morning we spent here is warm and cloudy, we cooked and have brunch outside in the backyard, such a wild beautiful space! The host prepared a lot, especially the fresh eggs from Mark, we enjoyed them very much! Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Stay here! If you're looking for a quiet place in a great location this is it. We were able to take the light rail here from the airport. We didn't need a car to get around but there is parking if you have one. We loved walking around the neighborhood to get great coffee. The spa tub was such an amazing experience after a day exploring Seattle. There's a great sleep kit but it was so quiet we never needed it. Highly recommend!

Kt User ProfileKt is a superhost.

My husband, Kirby and I live in Seattle WA and have been active in the Capitol Hill arts/food/cocktail revolution for the last 20 years. I am a nationally respected director/choreographer and run an art + event space here called 10 degrees. Kirby is the owner/master distiller of a craft distillery called Oola Distillery. We have both traveled the world for our work and know first hand how a unique, comfortable and private space can make or break a journey to a new place.

Kirby and I are into contemporary visual and performance art, fine food, cocktails, wine and architecture / building.

We are consummate hosts that value attention to detail, a clean and uncluttered atmosphere, privacy and an insiders "road map" to the heart of a city that can only be accessed by those who know it well.

We have a love for personal craftsmanship and architecture and look for accommodations that are unique to each city that we travel to - (we are not fans of ye old Hampton Inn!). We like to stay in places that are well appointed and satisfyingly comfortable but also feel like a "find" - a place that has its own distinctive character.

Our favorite cities aside from Seattle are Amsterdam, San Francisco, NYC (where we had an apartment for 15 years), Brussels, Paris and San Diego. We also love rural areas such as the San Juan's and Eastern Washington (Waitsburg).
