Check In
  • A room with a view. We had a delightful stay in Ciro's charming apartment. It was clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. The location was unbeatable. We were able to stop in for breaks between touring and shopping. There (email hidden)ly nightlife in the neighborhood. Ciro and Lisa were lovely hosts. Ciro emailed us with tips on where to eat and shop along with links to (website hidden) maps showing the locations. We would gladly stay there again.

  • Ciro and family have an amazing apartment and are great hosts. Awakening to see the Duomo right outside your bedroom window is something that’s hard to beat! Sure, because of that there’s a bit of pedestrian and taxi traffic noise outside but that’s a tradeoff we’d take any time.

Finding our way home was always easy - we just had to head for the Dome. Plenty of great places to eat and drink and get gelato nearby, and Ciro emailed us a nice list of off-the-beaten-path local establishments and things to do was well.

The apartment itself was huge with lots of windows. The bedroom also had a nice sitting area where we relaxed and sipped home-made wine that our host graciously provided for us. There is another bedroom and a dining/sitting room with TV etc but we ended up never using it. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom (with shower) met all our needs as well.

Everything was perfect for our stay and we had a great visit to Florence.

  • It was a wonderful stay for us in Florence. Ciro is a very welcoming and kind host and the apartment is very comfortable, well located, clean/neat and enjoyable. It was my 1st Airbnb experience and a great one to start with.

  • Fantastic! Such a spacious apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was originally worried about staying in such a touristy location but it was wonderfully convenient and you can still find some great deals at local shops. The view from the bedroom windows are startlingly beautiful.

  • Ciro could not have been a better host. He anticipated everything a visitor might want, and ensured all needs were met. He arranged to greet us early outside the beautiful apartment and stored our luggage until our check in time. He and his lovely wife welcomed us and presented us with gifts of bread, pastries and a bottle of wine. Then Ciro gave us a thorough walk through of the workings of the apartment, and then gave us tips on how where to eat and getting to the markets. Before leaving us, he made sure we had all the information we needed to get in touch with him should we have any further questions. The apartment immediately became our dream home away from home complete with beautiful paintings with an unbelievable breathtaking view. I would highly recommend renting from Ciro as he is truly a caring host. My son also felt that both the Host and the Apartment could not have been better. Thank you Ciro! We would love to visit you again if we find ourselves in Italy.

  • Great apartment, couldn't ask for a better location. Ciro was great and very accommodating. Even left us a bottle of wine. Highly recommend!

  • ciro was a very helpful and friendly host, also an earlier check-in was possible. ciro received us with fresh beverages an bread and gave us a lot of helpful suggestions about practical things. the appartement has everything you may need, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a free internet connection and,it's really a nice place to stay.the elevator is a nice extra when you arrive and leave with your luggage (and for tired sightseeing-feet too!) the view is really breathtaking,to see the dome as first and last thing every day is great, and you are in the very middle of everything, few minutes to walk to all main attractions and to the railway-station too.
true is that the rumours are existing, it's the price you pay for staying so centrally, but with eartips it's tolerable; for people with sensitive sleep I would'nt recommend it.

  • Ciro's apartment was the best airbnb experience I have had after staying in many different apartments previously.

Our check in was great! Ciro carried our 2 heavy luggages up the stairs as the lift was being maintained when we arrived. Upon arrival we were given a thorough tour through the spacious apartment. We were also left with a baguette and delicious sweet pastries :) oh and a bottle of wine, which we forgot to drink!

The bed is very comfortable and warm. The lounge and armchair in the bedroom are so comfortable to rest on after a long day of walking (and carrying shopping bags). The kitchen has all the appliance you need to cook. Heating was sufficient for winter temperatures. The apartment was absolutely clean. Oh and there is a washing machine which is so handy when travelling.

The location of the apartment is perfect. All the FABULOUS shopping you could want to do is within walking distance... everything is within walking distance. The Duomo, Bascilica, Michelangelos! Many good and reasonably priced restaurants closeby.

Definitely recommend staying in this apartment, you will not regret it!

  • Ciro's place was great. Very spacious, great location, and nice set up. There is some street noise at night - which we were alerted too, but we met other travelers in other locations who reported a similar experience, so this was not isolated to Ciro's. Ciro greeted us at the door, and provided keys, and a warm welcome with bread and wine and an overview of the apartment. The only issue was the WIFI service, wish was up and down most of our 4 day stay. Ciro did tell us that it normally works well (in the rooms closest to the entry) so I think we just hit a bad patch, but if connectivity is important, this is something you might want to consider. Overall, it was a great experience and the view of the Duomo is outstanding!

    Response from Ciro:

    Thanks George,
I double checked the wi fi connection with my laptop and smartphone and it works good and fast , I really don't know what happened . None ever complained about the wi fi . I'm sorry for this drawback

  • Ciro was there to greet us. He had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable with very little notice. He even had bread and wine for our arrival.

The apartment is in an amazing location with a great view of the Duomo — you're so close you can almost touch it.

The apartment is very clean and spacious with everything you need to make an unforgettable Florence experience.
