  • I was only in town for a night, but I had a great stay with Matt and Angela. They weren't able to meet me when I arrived, but made arrangements so that I could have the keys to the apartment. I arrived to find a lovely welcome message and a super clean and cute living space. They were very friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone if you find yourself in the Boston area.

  • What a breathe of fresh air Matt and Angela are. They are so warm and welcoming to their little clean space. They had all the comforts of home for me it is the french coffee press and for Bart the blender for smoothies. Angela turned us on the green smoothies , yum!
The bed was super comfortable and with the boiler of the building making the room so warm we hardly needed the blankets.
Are trip was for a sad occasion so it was extra nice to feel so comfortable in their space. I highly recommend it, if for the only reason is to meet such great people.

  • Matt and Angela were great hosts! They were very friendly, but also incredibly respectful of our privacy. The bed was super comfortable and the shower head was AWESOME. The apartment is well located also. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you, Matt and Angela!

  • Angela and Matt are absolutely the best people living in Boston. From the minute I walked through their door they made me feel welcome and I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with them. Their place has a charm that easily beats the fanciest hotel and they are both extremely easy to get along with. The room is big, the bed is comfortable, the place is clean, you can't beat the location and they are minutes from the T & buses & restaurants, but on a side street away from the noise. Angela even let me use her bike if I wanted. I would not recommend every place I have stayed since moving out here
& looking for my own place, but I would definitely recommend their place. Oh! And there's a very clean laundry room right underneath their apartment. What else....hmmm....mostly just that they are the kind of people that you rarely come across and when you meet them, you will be happy that you chose their place. The bonus was listening to an amazing singer/songwriter playing her guitar in the apartment. & going out to hear her play live one night.

  • Angela and Matt are great people. Their place has excellent location. They are very helpful during our stay. If you drive however this may not be ideal unless you are used to spent 15 minutes finding a parking space and walk for 5-10 minutes to their place. I had no problem with it. Will stay again during weekend cuz you can park as long as you want.

  • We had a wonderful stay. The room was just as described. The room was clean, complete with clean linen and towels. The apt is just a train ride away from BU which was my main purpose for visiting Boston. The apt is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Angela and Matt were great hosts. Would love to stay again on my next visit.

  • Matt and Angela are wonderful hosts!!! They kindly responded to my emails and text messages before our stay. Our flight was delayed and Matt waited for us until midnight. He explained everything clearly upon our arrival. The room was very clean and comfy. We used to live in this neighborhood so the whole environment felt like home immediately. Too bad we had to arrive late and leave early. Next time I'll definitely choose to stay with them again!!!

About
Hello! Matt and I live in Boston MA where Matt is enrolled in the Philosophy Doctoral Program at Boston University and I work as a music therapist at Beverly Hospital/various nursing homes in the area. Matt and I got married in August 2011. We are loving living in Boston and we find cool, new spots each day. There are so many different neighborhoods to explore in Boston. Angela: I graduated from The Conservatory of Music and Dance in Kansas City with a degree in music therapy. A few of my favorite artists are Bjork, Coco Rosie, Joanna Newsom, Grimes, and Erykah Badu. I enjoy being involved in the local art and music scene. I have a solo music project called {Ruby Luna}. I also love to spend time reading, going to the beach or sewing. My three favorite places I have traveled to are Costa Rica, Thailand and Nepal. I love to smile, and I love meeting new people. :-) Matt: I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in Philosophy. I am now in the Ph.D. Program in Philosophy at Boston University. I like to read and go to local music shows. I play the guitar, mandolin, and various electronic instruments. My favorite place I have traveled to is Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.
