The Space

THE HOUSE
As you can see from the photos, the apartment is on two floors.
Ground floor: entrance courtyard and rooms with a kitchenette.
First floor: two bedrooms, bathroom and balcony.

Generally I never sleep in the house, rare exceptions, then you will have the 'apartment at your disposal.

VERY IMPORTANT
In case you want to use the two bedroom for two guest you should make the reservation for three guest.

The guest bedroom is the largest with a double-bed and balcony,
wishing I provide the second bedroom with 120 cm bed (room with which I hosted an Airbnb for the end of 2013) or the sofa bed on the ground floor (double bed) for two extra people.
The apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 people in the same group in the arrangement described, the bathroom is one.

The accommodation on the small room can be for two people, but please note that the bed is 120 cm wide, so it depends on your habits.
Alternatively, it can also be considered the accommodation on the sofa bed on the ground floor (160 cm)

Wi-Fi connection

  • We had an enjoyable time staying in Lorenzo's home and getting to know the neighbourhood of Pigneto. Although we never actually met Lorenzo, we were in touch by text and he was always very helpful and even recommended some great restaurants in the area. His place was beautiful, eclectic and very inviting. It was also a few steps from Via del Pigneto, which is the main street in Pigneto. But keep in mind, most places shut down during the day but re-open around 7 pm for dinner. It's really in the evening when the neighbourhood comes alive and reveals its charm. If you're looking for a break from the more touristic parts of Rome, then Lorenzo's home in Pigneto is the perfect place for you.

  • We loved the neighborhood of Pigneto and enjoyed our stay at Lorenzo's apartment very much! It was super helpful that he showed us around a bit and gave us some useful information about Rome. Also having a guidebook and map provided was really nice!!
Thank you very much Lorenzo for a wonderful roman experience!

Zoals alle Romeinen trouwens....Het was goed in Rome.

  • Lorenzo's apartment is great ... very comfortable, well equipped and cozy. Staying in the region of Pigneto was a unique and unforgettable experience. Lorenzo was an amazing host, and showed us various useful information, which greatly facilitated our stay in Rome. Thank you for everything Lorenzo!

  • Our experience in Lorenzo's apartment was great! Lorenzo himself is a great host! He was the last air bnb experience on our honeymoon of two weeks and was the ONLY host who spent a good 30 minutes with us upon arrival. He explained the entire apartment in a very detailed manner and then took us on a GREAT 15 minute walking tour of the Pigento area. Lorenzo was very honest and straight forward when talking about the area. Pigneto is not historic Rome it is a very up and coming bohemian type area. It is eclectic, young, diverse, and if you aren't expecting this it can definitely be surprising and sometimes off-putting. Nevertheless, (website hidden) Pigneto and you will read mostly very positive things. Pigneto is especially good if you like to eat and it is where A LOT of recommended restaurants are located. Many people will travel to the Pigneto area for tastier and cheaper food than historic Rome has to offer. Lorenzo points out on his tour the places to go and to stay away from during night and this was MUCH appreciated. My wife and I live in a similar sort of neighborhood in Los Angeles (Venice) so for us it was tolerable however just a heads up on the type of neighborhood it is. Rome itself is of course, AMAZING…it is only one bus ride from Lorenzo's apartment to the Coliseum. You can also take a 15 euro or so taxi ride direct to the historic Rome center if that is where you are wanting to go. All in all, great experience. One more thing, his apartment itself was great and very spacious! It is decorated very cool!!

  • Amazing Stay. Thank you Lorenzo.

    May 2014
  • Lorenzo was very generous in showing us around the neighbourhood, pointing out the best spots to eat and shop and which busses and trams to take. The two-floor apartment is in a diverse and funky ethnic area about half an hour by bus to the centre and can comfortably accommodate four people. The bathroom and the linens were clean. This apartment would be best suited to the young and mobile.
