We had a nice stay in the riad, everything was nice and organised, pick-up by the driver was very pleasant and the driver also helped us a lot during the week to get around in marrakech. Villa was very luxurous and beatiful to stay in!

For the price this Riad is GREAT. I had many good experiences with this place and a few not so good. First: if you are a couple or just woman I do NOT recommend this Riad for you due to location and few specifications. The Riad is located in Medina which is INSIDE the bazaar which means many many annoying people everywhere. As a tourist in this area you stand out big time. Medina is a town that is very religious so many restrictions in this town. Late at night coming back to the house is a MAZE and not safe at all. I am a man with guys I went it was ok for us but for a couple of just woman I dontnot recommend it. If you want anything touristi you need to go to Gileaz it is 15 minutes from Medina. In Medina there are aweful smells and many people begging and actually bothering you non stop. As far as the actual Riad house it is huge very big and nice , Fatima nice lady cooks for you in the mornings your choice of meals for a cheap fee. But she is not a house keeper she downs make make bed or clean in the kitchen after you. The kitchen was full of flys and roaches bugs. The bathrooms and kitchen has NO napkins or shampoo soap. These were very annoying I must say.....I recommend this place for a group of guys basically due to location and lack of the house being pampered for men. All in all the house is beautiful large great price and if you wantBUSY location stay here but don't expect anything fancy or too clean.

Response from Sibylle Sophie:
I am more than surprised about your comments. You seem to ignore that a Medina is the old walled part of a North African town in which natives live with their manners and customs, one of them is selling cooked food which might – indeed – smell. It is insulting and judging saying they are annoying. The restrictions due to their religion is part of their culture and this does not affect the tourists in any way. Instead of being bothered by poor people you will notice that you can find them also in NYC. Morrocco is an emerging country and does not have the same level of life as upper class US. You have rented a Riad, which is my holiday home, which is fully equipped with towels in each bathroom. You did not rent a hotel room in which beds are made every day. This is clearly stated in the description of the riad and I recommend that you read such carefully. You only paid for the use of my wonderful place, not for any hotel service and particularly not for a maid cleaning up after you. Note that you sayed in my house only for 4 nights! During the summertime, having flies around is a normal fact in Marocco and I must say that I have never ever seen any roaching bug in my place in all those years. Neither have any of the guests who stayed in my Riad. I wonder who brought them in? In every bathroom, there are soap dispensers which are to be used both for hand washing as well as for showering. The products I buy are made for both uses – you should have tried them ! Concerning the safety of the Medina, I can onlysay that neither me or my female friends who stay in my Riad or any of the guests (women or couples or youngsters) ever had the slightest bad experience – we all walk home in the middle of the night (sometimes alone) in this safe area where people look after each other ! If you do not want to live in a busy but quiet area, you should not pick a city with a population of over one million for your holidays : there are beautiful spots in the desert waiting for you. Thanks you for staying at our house.

A great private riad set in a local area within the city walls , it takes about 20mins to walk to the main square and it's safe to walk anytime . The local shops are nearby and taxis can take you anywhere from main gate nearby .

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Riad. Like others have mentioned, the place is very secluded—we had someone walk us and our bags through a maze of alleyways until we reached the riad. It's beautiful inside, equipped with an indoor swimming pool, which was a welcome reprieve during our visit in June. Everything was clean and colorful. The third bedroom did not have air conditioning, so two of us had to sleep downstairs to escape the heat. Overall, I would recommend this Airbnb to Marrakech travelers.

Marrakech is a beautiful city and there is a lot to see. It is worth staying in a Riad such as Sibylles. If you use Airbnb because it connects you with the locals it's more difficult at Sybilles place as she wasn't there by person. Communicating through Airbnb was very easy. She was always reachable.

The house is wonderful, big, with a lot of sun, silent, lovely. We had breakfast in the terrasse and it was amazing and almost magic. The pool in the main room is very nice. The house is clean and cosy. We suggest to have dinner and beekfast in the house since Fatima is a superb cooker and very welcoming. The house is ok for a family and is inside the medina: everything is at walking distance. Superb choice to visit Marrakech.
