Come for your holidays in my nice apartment in the heart of Venice. It can confortably host up to 5 people, with a private garden, and it is only two steps away from S. Marco square, in one of the most ancient districts of Venezia.
A little and warm house with independent access, recently restored, in optimal position, only a few minutes away from both the train station and the docks, and also all the most famous locations of the city.
It is in fact very easy to reach from this house, in a very small time, the famous Piazza S. Marco, the Rialto district and, by ferry, San Giorgio and Murano islands.
Futhermore, the house is always safe from the frequent high tides of the Lagoon, while still remaining close to the places of interest mentioned above.
The house is on a single floor made of:
- living room with dining table and television
- small kitchen with fridge/freezer, hob, sink and microwave oven
- toilet with shower, washbowl and bidet
In the bedroom there are a double bed and a single one, and also in the living room there is a sofa bed, so up to 5 persons can be accomodated.
In the district you'll find all the commodities you might ever need, for example a grocery always supplied with fresh fruit and vegetables, a baker, a hairdresser and a mini-market.
For those who want to avoid cooking, there is also plenty of choice in term of restaurants and pizzerias, which offer a good taste of the local cuisine.

In a word: Amazing!
Monica was so generous and kind, she left us food and a bottle of wine in the fridge! but even more amazingly she let us wear the costumes she had hand made for Carnavale!!
The apartment itself is also great - evidently, lovingly decorated - and located in the true Venice - away from the ridiculous crowds that swarmed the calles for Carnavale. This was almost the best part.
So overall, great apartment, great location and wonderful host. Thanks again Monica!!
Kind host, good place, close to small shops, restaurant, etc, but of course in Venice for sightseeing you know you will have to walk :-) On the minus side, the pinky deco is maybe a bit too lovely :-) and the humid weather at the end of October was able to sip its way in.
We stayed at Monica's four nights in mid October. Monica met us in San Marco's square and even helped us carry our luggage to her apartment. We had a great stay in Venice and appreciated staying in the city, away from the hordes of tourists from the 4 large cruise ships. We have been in Venice before, but really appreciated seeing how real people live in the city. We were amazed at how all of the work in the city, deliveries, garbage pick up, etc. is done with hand carts. No motorized vehicles. We missed this before when we stayed in a tourist hotel. Thank you, Monica.
We really enjoyed our stay at Monica's apartment which is in a pleasant neighbourhood. Her apartment meets all of the needs of a traveller (except Wi-Fi - you have to go to the neighbourhood coffee shop for that; there's also an internet cafe about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) and we would stay there again. Monica and her husband met us under the clock at San Marco square and they led us to the apartment. She provided us with the necessary information to orient ourselves in Venice. We stayed there for 5 nights and didn't have any problems visiting this special city.
Nice and clean apartment very close to the San Marco square. Monica came to receive us at the San Marco square when we arrived there and helped us with the places to see around. 100% recommended place to stay in Venice.
Thanks Monica for the arrangements and specially for the shoes and umbrellas that you arranged which helped a lot on the rainy day in Venice :)
Perfect location and lovely host and apartment.
We had really good time in Venice
Thank you Monica and Emanuel for a lovely stay in magical historic Venice. Staying in an area outside the hustle and bustle of the Grand Canal was great once we had a detailed map of the area.
We stayed at Monica's place for a four night stay to visit the Biennale. It was the ideal location for feeling like you are properly in Venice - where real people live! - but near enough to everywhere we wanted to be. Everything was as we were told - we had all we needed there for a great stay... I loved Venice and am already working out when I can go back! I would happily stay at Monica's again - she was really hospitable and helpful.
Wonderful stay – Monica was very welcoming and informative on the area. The apartment is spacious (we were three people) and has a charming courtyard. Though it may be hidden away, this offers the chance to be fully immersed in a no-tourist part of the city, and to explore from another point of view! (Just don't bring too many suitcases!)
We loved Monica's cute (website hidden). She and her husband met us at San Marco and took us to the compact apartment, which had ample space for ur family of four. Monica had been thoughtful enough to stock up the kitchen with milk, juice, bread, coffee so we could manage very well for breakfast. The remaining facilities in the apartment were good as well. The location was perfect, with easy access to San Marco square, Rialto bridge, etc. Wifi would have been good to have, but we did not mind as much thanks to the excellent guidelines and map provided by our host. We very much enjoyed our stay here.
