The space
Villa Retro B&B - bed and boutique - means you live in the middle of a retro shop full of things. Most things are for sale except for furniture - if there is a price tag, you can buy it! There are two small rooms and a kitchenette, shower room and separate toilet. You have the entire space to yourself, your own entrance with a code lock allows you to come and go as you want, self check-in. Free parking with a small patio right at your doorstep.
The accommodation has one bedroom with a double bed 160 cm and a separate room with a simpler armchair bed. Younger children are unfortunately not welcome due to shelves with porcelain and gadgets from floor to ceiling.
Please be aware that the property has a simpler, older standard and is located on the basement level.

Guest access
Guests have the entire basement to themselves with its own entrance and locked door to the rest of the house.
We live in the house upstairs. We'll send a message beforehand and let you know if we're away or at home during your stay.
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE! Read this before you book to avoid misunderstandings.
The accommodation is located in a residential area in Gothenburg. It is NOT walking distance to the city center - or yes, but it takes about an hour. By bus, however, it takes about 15 minutes to the Central Station. So you are NOT living in the center of Gothenburg. However, you live right on the border of a large recreational area with several lakes and swimming areas, hiking trails and barbecue areas.
Breakfast is NOT included. There is tea and coffee that you can make yourself whenever you wish, microwave and egg cooker. There is NO hot plate or stove. The nearest grocery store is a few minutes away. There are a few restaurants and cafes within walking distance, between 5-20 minutes away.
The property is located in a basement in a house from the 1950s. Kitchen, toilet and shower are of a simpler standard, there is no underfloor heating or similar luxury. Bring slippers or wear your shoes indoors in the summer. There is water-based heating that can be controlled manually and an electric element to connect if necessary. It is lower ceiling height than standard so you who are tall need to bend down when you go through the doorways.
We live upstairs ourselves. Our bedroom is at the other end of the house two stairs up so there is no risk of us disturbing each other at night. We help each other not to play loud music or anything else that may disturb after 10 pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends.
The parking lot that is by the house is at the garage entrance and can be perceived as narrow if you have a larger car.
