Please notice: as we work full time we need at least 4 days notice to book the room. We appreciate your understanding.
Noe Valley is a very quaint and quiet neighborhood located between Castro, Twin Peaks and Cole Valley.
The apartment is facing the Castro Hill and it's right below Twin Peaks, offering a beautiful view and really nice walks to the close by parks and the lively neighborhoods surrounding it. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops near by down the hill.
The apartment itself has a lot of light and charm has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We use one of the bedroom and the guest bedroom is spacious, comfortable and has a queen size bed.
We offer WiFi. We have coin-operated laundry in the building.
The 48 bus line stops right in front of the building and connects to the J Muni line or to Bart in the Mission (a 15 minutes ride). It is also a 10 minutes walk down to Castro…for the way up it takes a bit longer (steep hill).
There is ample and easy parking on the street in front of the apartment.
Please Note: As we are out from 9AM to 6 PM we can check you in only past 6PM, and we'd like to have at least a week notice if you are interested in booking the room.
Other Things to Note
It might take from 12 to 14 hrs before I respond if you send me an e-mail at night or on a week-end. We do not usually take reservation from one day to the other as it doesn't give us time to set up the guest room. Also as this is our private residence we'd like to have some information about you in your profile, and pictures help as well.
Thank you for your patience.
No Smoking, no overnight guests, and quiet time around 10.30. Please take care of your dishes. Not required but suggested: shoes off.
Please remember to turn the lights off. Already mentioned we will give you a little tour of our trash/reciclying/compost system...
Karen and Anthony were very very friendly. Both helped us to plan our visit in San Franciso. They provided us maps and a lot of information. We could always ask for help and could also do our online check-in for our flight back home!
We had an excellent cohabitation with Karen and Anthony that aren't intrusive hosts. They were letting everything behind them tidy for us.
The description matches the reality, and the Noe Valley neighborhood is a charmful and ideal location to start exploring the city. The bus stopping in front of the door allowed a good reach to the main attractions.
Good price/quality deal!
It is my pleasure to be the 1st Karen & Anthony's guest who came from China mainland! Karen & Anthony was great and easy to talk with, we chatted a lot at the 1st night and even forget of the time. Karen is really helpful and provide us a bag of maps & tips.we have not seen each other too much time during my stay, but we really enjoy the nice apartment of Karen's, and it will be our 2nd home in San Francisco! Hope to see you soon in Beijing :)
Karen and Anthony are great! They both have wonderful local knowledge about SF, and are eager to share it with their guests! They even have a bag of maps/things to do that is great for guests who are new to the city. Their suggestions for places to eat are on point- we are foodies and were happy with every meal we had. Their apartment is beautiful and in a great part of town- we felt comfortable and had convenient access to public transportation. We had great conversation while sitting in their cozy living room and we will definitely be back for another stay at Karen's!
Oh-so-San Francisco, in the best possible way! Karen's charming, tidy and artfully decorated home is atop one of the city's signature steep hills -- just a 20-minute walk from the top of Twin Peaks, which offers breathtaking views (at least when the fog cooperates!). The room was very comfortable and clean, as were the shared living area, kitchen and bathroom. Warm, responsive and accommodating, Karen and Anthony were consummate hosts who made us feel very much at home, both in their apartment and in the city. I highly recommend getting Karen's advice on what to see, do and eat: our breakfast at Tartine and our drive through the redwoods south of San Francisco were among the highlights of our week-long sojourn in California. Grazie mille, Karen and Anthony, and I hope to have the chance to host you soon in New York!
Another perfect stay in Karen's place. This time she left me the keys to the apartment and headed off for a 2 week vacation. Thank you Karen, it's great when you find a place that you just want to keep coming back to, looking forward to staying again!!! :)
Karen and Anthony have a great place in Noe Valley. It was really relaxed and I could cook when I came home in the evening. It's nice and quiet there too, no busy traffic going past. They were so easy to stay with, I was there for 3 weeks but it went great.
I'm looking forward to staying with the guys again sometime soon and would definitely recommend Karen and Anthony, they were super hosts.
I moved to SF 20 years ago and love the city.
We are lucky to have a very nice view of it from the living room window and kitchen window. Guests love to have breakfast while looking outside.
Love to give visitors suggestions of what to see in SF, I like usual places off the beaten path.
We do not take reservation from one day to the other as it doesn't give us time to set up the guest room. Thank you for your patience.
