Frisco in Colorado is a small town close to several ski resorts. With fantastic scope for skiing and other outdoor pursuits as well as being a great base from which to explore Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, Frisco describes itself as the Main Street of the Rockies, and is a great place for a family holiday. Our home is one block off Main Street with easy access to restaurants, bars, activity centers and shopping.
Free Summit Stage 1 1/2 blocks away.
Two parking spaces available in our heated garage. Extra parking on the street or in the complex parking lot.
Other Things to Note
This is our permanent home. All who have stayed here have treated it so and our expectation would be that any others would be as respectful.
Please remove shoes and/or boots upon entering the unit.
No ski/ snowboarding equipment other than in the garage.
Land line is for local or toll free calls.
Please take out the trash, load and start the dishwasher when you depart.
This home was a great place for our stay in Frisco for a family ski vacation. Tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable beds. Having a real kitchen with cookware, spices and condiments made it possible for us to have breakfast and dinner at the house which was both relaxing and saved money, even though the restaurants are great in the area. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after dinner. At least 100% better than your nice ski condo rental because it is fully equipped and better furniture and rugs.
My Folks, Sister, Nephew and I all stayed at this beautiful and cozy mountain home and couldn't have been more pleased. The Rutledges even went so far as to leave us Blueberry Muffins and cereal for the morning! Everything was prepped as you would expect from a 5 star condo. We recommend staying here if you're ever lucky enough to be in the area.
My family and I loved staying at Richard's condo. Not only is the place beautiful and clean it's so convenient to downtown Frisco's dining and shopping!
Richard could not have been more hospitable and this will not be our last visit with him! Thank you for everything.
We (a group of 7 people) spent 4 full days there and frankly speaking we are looking forward to repeating next year. I could not speak higher of our experience and our communications with Richard. He was extremely prompt in responses to questions, and the house was exactly as he said it was. He and his wife Sue really made it a fantastic visit for us.
This was our 3rd year in a row going skiing to Colorado, and this was by far the best place where we have been.
The house is within walking distance of Main Street in Frisco, the perfect location for us since we wanted to go skiing each day to a different ski resort. We went to Vail (30min), Loveland (30min), Copper Mountain (15min) and Breckenridge (15min).
We had a late flight to Denver, but Richard and Sue were awake until 3am just to help us to get settled! The fact that we get to meet them made the experience even better.
We had a little issue at our arrival because originally we were going to be a group of 6 people, but we had a last minute friend who joined us, and when we arrived everything was perfectly prepared for only 6 people. I forgot to inform Richard in advance about this because we thought that the house could easily accommodate an additional guest, as it was in fact. Richard and Sue helped us to accommodate this additional person on the living room with a convenient and comfortable inflatable airbed. They also have a sofa bed here but since the airbed looked great we chose that option. I’d say that the house is the perfect place for 6 people, but if necessary it can accommodate another 2, but this means sleeping on a sofa or an inflatable bed in the beautiful living room which shares the huge open space with the kitchen and dining room. This wasn’t a problem for us since we all had the same timing..
We all loved the place. Richard and Sue have such a beautiful house. Everything was perfect, and taken care of even the smallest detail. They also provide anything you may need to make your stay a real pleasure. The decoration of all the rooms is simply awesome. It is warm, comfortable, with astonishing views, convenient,….I don’t have enough adjectives to describe our experience.
Last day, we also had a late return flight and Richard and Sue let us leave our luggage and clean up before we head down to the airport after skiing. This is something we appreciated very much since we didn’t want to take the red eye flight right after skiing without taking a quick shower.
In the bottom line, we would definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!
The townhouse in Frisco was the perfect place to stay for a ski trip. Easy access by car or free shuttle to Copper Mountain and Breckenridge, walk to Main Street restaurants and shops. The home has all the amenities you'd like, is very comfortable and has a mountain vacation feel. We all agreed that we'd enjoy another ski vacation at this home. Enjoy!!
