Response from Daniel:

Renjie only stayed for one night. He was friendly, but when he checked out he did something extremely stupid and made me very angry. When he left, he left my garage door wide open. He left at 9am, and I didn't wake up until 11am. My garage had been left open for over 2 hours. I very easily could have been robbed. Not only for items in my garage, but for my belongings in the home as well (since there is a door in the garage that stays unlocked and leads into my home). He made me feel very unsafe and vulnerable in my own home and I woke up very upset. My bike, power tools, camping gear, sporting gear and more was exposed to the streets, and not to mention all of my DJ gear inside my house (which is how I make a living). When I messaged him about it, he said he couldn't figure out how to close the garage door, but not only did I show him where the electronic button was, it is also listed in my house manual. Then he said that I should put it in the house rules to keep the garage door closed. That is such a ridiculous request since it should be common knowledge. If I added such common sense things as keeping the garage closed, or not setting my house on fire, my house rules would be 20 pages long.
