The Space

My place is clean and in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
You have your own bedroom with a queen bed and full use of the living room, kitchen, bathroom and the rest of the place.
You can have up to 3 people in the bedroom, with 1-2 people in the bed, and 1 on the inflatable mattress. (You must request the air mattress in advance if you will be needing it, otherwise I will only provide it when 3 people are booked)
When the air mattress is in the room, there is little space left for belongings, so feel free to put your stuff in the living room.
There is a garage that you can park your car in, with a washer and dryer for your clothes if you are on a long trip.
I count everyone as a guest, including children, so please book the room accordingly.
I have a 60" TV with Netflix.
The bedroom gets lots of sunshine, and has good closet space.
I have a bathtub in bathroom with a shower.
I can make extra room in the bathroom and kitchen cabinets for your belongings and food if you will need it, but please let me know in advance.
My home is a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 24 hour grocery store.
I am 1 block from a movie theater, coffee (website hidden) and many restaurants.
I am near two 24 hour bus lines that can take you anywhere downtown.
I am right next to Golden Gate park and not far from the famous Haight/Ashbury district.
I have a backyard if you smoke.
I clean the sheets, pillow cases and towels after every guest, and I have a sets of keys for you.
There are no rats, insects, mold or other health hazards in my place.
I have no pets and do not smoke.
I don't discriminate on race, sex, religion, sexual preference etc.
There is a small heater in the room as well as a table, chair and dresser.
There are more tips in my guidebook if you are looking for things in my area, and around SF.

  • This was an awesome place to stay! The apartment was extremely clean, everything was set up for us when we arrived, and we really had the place to ourselves. Daniel was either not there or out of our way when we were staying there, and he was very accommodating to our needs. We met him at the end of our stay and he was incredibly nice and helpful. Also, the location is great! It's a bit outside of downtown, but that was perfect for us. It's a cool residential neighborhood with a cool movie palace, lots of restaurants, (email hidden) just 1 block away. We felt like we were living in the city when we stayed there. Not to mention that it is 1 block from Golden Gate Park and 8 from the ocean. Thanks Daniel! Will definitely stay there when we return to CA.

  • We enjoyed our stay at Daniels. It was a very nice place and great location. Exactly what we were looking for. Daniel was very accommodating for our late arrival and even helped us retrieve some items accidently left behind. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this place.

  • Prior to staying at Daniel’s place, he was excellent about answering my questions and getting back to me right away. His place was in immaculate condition, very clean, and easy to find. We drove to his place and it was convenient having the garage to park in. It’s a really tiny garage so if you have an SUV, I would suggest you have someone guide you into the garage. This was my 5th airbnb experience and one of the oddest experiences. We arrived as Daniel was leaving his place, but it was strange because I wasn’t even sure if it was him and he didn’t even introduce himself. He text me shortly afterwards to apologize and say he was running late. The entire time we stayed at his house I didn’t even know if he was home. He definitely allowed us to have our own privacy and stayed out of our way, but I was surprised I never got to interact with him the whole time we were there. Usually when the host is home, I’ve been able to meet them. At any rate, everything you need to know about his house in his house manual and the instructions are pretty easy to follow. It was also so nice of Daniel to give us free taxi vouchers for Lyft and Uber. They are good to use if you have a smart phone. All you end up paying is the tax which is a good deal when Daniel is about 30-40 minutes to Fisherman’s Wharf.

  • Daniel is friendly and respects both guest's privacy and host's privacy. The room is extremely clean. The garage saved us from looking for a parking lot. The guest manual helps a lot during our stay there.

  • This is a very good place to stay in SF. The room is very clean and the location is convenient. We are so happy to stay at here. Daniel's house rule is very helpful. Every detail that you need to know is there. Thx. We had a great trip.

  • This is a good clean apartment that is in a great location and close to metro buses so easy to get around. Daniel keeps to himself and respects your privacy, for the money you couldn't fault it.

  • Stayed here for a night with two other friends, was a good experience! Everything was as it is in the pictures, and all the amenities provided certainly made our stay comfortable. Garage parking is a big upside to the place!

While Daniel isn't the most talkative individual, he was nice and his clear instructions made the whole check-in and check out process smooth.

  • Just returned from a two night stay in San Francisco. The apartment is in an ideal location (walking distance from the park, and not too many blocks from the coast). Our host, Daniel, was courteous, and other than our initial meet and greet, we did not cross paths at all, so, in effect, my friend and I had the place to ourselves. (Daniel's also so quiet, we were unsure when he was or wasn't there -- a good thing, I suppose, when sharing accomodations.)

That he offers parking is a BIG plus, and his large TV is equipped with Netflix.

The only issue my friend and I had was the bedroom mattress, which was a bit too flimsy and not very comfortable.

Other than that, this was a good experience and a cheaper alternative to staying in a hotel.

  • Nice simple place to stay

  • The space is clean and uncluttered, as mentionned. A lot of room is available and the neighboorhood is quiet and pleasant. Furthermore, travelling from this location to other areas of San Francisco using public transportation is straightforward and fast.

I am a really tidy person and love to cook for myself. I work most nights and live in a scenic, safe and quiet area in San Francisco by Golden Gate Park. There is so much interesting stuff within walking distance, so I try not to be home too often. I am a pretty laid back guy in my 30's, and have a special lady who keeps me out of trouble. I like to consider myself an open and conscious person, respecting everyone's point of view. I don't drink often, but I don't mind if you do, as long as you are responsible. There is no smoking allowed inside, but I have a secure and safe back yard. You have full use of the entire place, besides my room of course. On nights when I am home, I will most likely be in my room with headphones on listening to music or watching a movie. The best way to communicate with me is via text message, even when I am in my room. I am friendly, but fairly reserved and quiet, so you may not see me very much, so do not be offended if I don't have too many conversations. I tend to let my guests have their space and privacy. I also work most nights, so you'd most likely be alone the majority of the time, but that is not guaranteed. I pride myself on being a responsible person, but I still love cartoons, comedians, and practical jokes.
