I didn't have a chance to meet Nicolas but met Jacques and was completely taken care for during my time in Marrakech. I had a long journey before arriving and was immediately served tea and had an overwhelming beautiful feeling as soon as I walked into my orange blossom scented home for my few days in Marrakech! Thank you again!

We stayed at this beautifully restored Riad hosted (and restored) by Nicolas for our first few days in Morocco and they were some of the best. It was great to get a feel of how other's grew a life for themselves in such an interesting city. We loved so many things about the place including that it is a little set back from the noise at the center of the Medina in a more residential area, the bikes which we were offered for exploring (which somehow made us feel a little less like tourists and more local) and the absolutely amazing breakfasts offered daily. Our hosts made sure we had a smooth arrival and received us with a warm welcome. They also recommended some top restaurants in the city and there we had some of the best food of our whole trip. We also enjoyed the two dogs, the turtles, and the sound of wild birds eating the fruit from the trees in the courtyard outside our room. Such a great oasis. I highly recommend it.

We had a fabulous time staying with Nicolas and Jacques in their beautiful riad. In fact we thought we had died and gone to heaven when we arrived to opera music playing in an exquisite courtyard garden! Our hosts were most welcoming and thoughtful and we enjoyed their lavish breakfasts. I thoroughly recommend this listing. It was a beautiful sanctuary in the Medina with gracious hosts. Nicolas and Jacques are just great and we are forever grateful to Jacques for sorting out our air ticket problem!

Our experience at Nicolas and Jacques' house was perfect. The house is beautiful, very nice decorated and the garden is great. The 2 dogs are amongst the smartest, cutest and most funny of all dogs :). Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Nicolas was gave us great information about Marrakech, what to visit and where to eat. They are both very nice and made us feel welcomed. Thanks again for everything! I would recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Do you want to know what the secret of the Medina is about? Easy! Just drop in at Nicolas&Jaques' Riad. Explore the narrow meandering streets, tunneling where your first thought is heading definitely towards a dead end, slipping through a mousey door and then - boom! Entering a cosy paradies merging quietness, relaxing green, water, nice breakfast, very supporting hosts, Bauhaus furniture, pureness, medina explorer bikes and dinosaurs (yes, it is true, we have seen them). We miss this place, surely will come back and highly recommend this place.

Our amazing journey in morocco ended in marrakesh getting to know the most amazing hosts you can imagine after linving out of a suitcase for a couple of weeks. thank you very much for letting us stay with you, getting to know your beautiful roommates bobby, loebas and the turtels. Everything was just perfect: our room, the bathtub, that breathtaking courtyard, the breakfast, the bikes (that brought us through the medina), all the advices about "the must do and see places" and your carelessness with our lil sunshine Bela (2 years old). THaNK YoU :) Nicolas and Jacques, thank you so very much for your hospitality. A room in the medina was exactly what we wanted and it was just great! We really enjoyed our stay and the delicious breakfasts in the mornings. For the few days we were there, it gave us a very good impression, how it is to live in a wonderful house with a beautiful little courtyard not far away from the souks and the Jaama el Fna. Thanks again for all your help. We had had a great time! Please stay healthy and a wonderful 2016! Angela & Stefan

We, Jacques and myself live and work in Marrakech for 7 years now. We feel at home in this busteling city and have decided to buy a house four years ago... It is big enough to host people and help them find their way in the crazy medina.
I'm working as an architect and after work and in weekends I love cooking, singing, enjoying opera and go for a walk in the countryside or mountains.
