We had a wonderful stay with Nicholas and Jacques! The riad was gorgeous and well-maintained. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning, and they always joined us to eat. They were very friendly and gave us a lot of good suggestions and advice about Marrakech and Moroccan culture. They went out of their way to show us around and helped us with whatever we needed ( they helped us arrange a tour, got us a taxi when we left). I would highly recommend this place, and will definitely stay here again if I come back to Marrakech!

I didn't have a chance to meet Nicolas but met Jacques and was completely taken care for during my time in Marrakech. I had a long journey before arriving and was immediately served tea and had an overwhelming beautiful feeling as soon as I walked into my orange blossom scented home for my few days in Marrakech! Thank you again!

We stayed at this beautifully restored Riad hosted (and restored) by Nicolas for our first few days in Morocco and they were some of the best. It was great to get a feel of how other's grew a life for themselves in such an interesting city. We loved so many things about the place including that it is a little set back from the noise at the center of the Medina in a more residential area, the bikes which we were offered for exploring (which somehow made us feel a little less like tourists and more local) and the absolutely amazing breakfasts offered daily. Our hosts made sure we had a smooth arrival and received us with a warm welcome. They also recommended some top restaurants in the city and there we had some of the best food of our whole trip. We also enjoyed the two dogs, the turtles, and the sound of wild birds eating the fruit from the trees in the courtyard outside our room. Such a great oasis. I highly recommend it.

We had a fabulous time staying with Nicolas and Jacques in their beautiful riad. In fact we thought we had died and gone to heaven when we arrived to opera music playing in an exquisite courtyard garden! Our hosts were most welcoming and thoughtful and we enjoyed their lavish breakfasts. I thoroughly recommend this listing. It was a beautiful sanctuary in the Medina with gracious hosts. Nicolas and Jacques are just great and we are forever grateful to Jacques for sorting out our air ticket problem!

We, Jacques and myself live and work in Marrakech for 7 years now. We feel at home in this busteling city and have decided to buy a house four years ago... It is big enough to host people and help them find their way in the crazy medina.
I'm working as an architect and after work and in weekends I love cooking, singing, enjoying opera and go for a walk in the countryside or mountains.
