Immaculate Spanish style home with 1800 sq ft of finished space in charming Old Miraloma. Our 2-level corner property features lots of natural light, vaulted ceilings, parquet floors, recessed lighting, and views of Mt. Davidson. The eat-in Chef's kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, slate tile floor, and a granite island and breakfast bar with large skylight. The dining area and living room with fireplace and flatscreen are also on the main level, along with a remodeled tile-and-marble bathroom with Jacuzzi and glass shower stall. Two bedrooms are on this same level, with one set up as a proper guestroom with Queen, and the other as an office with a big couch and space to use our Coleman DoubleHigh PillowTop QuickBed Queen. On the lower level is the Master suite (1 bedroom with King bed and 1 full bath) with bonus sitting room. From the sitting room, step out and enjoy our brick patio, fenced yard, outdoor furniture and gas grill. There is parking in our own driveway, and we have a one-car garage with washer/dryer and plenty of space for any extra "stuff" you may be traveling with. A shopping center (Mollie Stone's, Starbucks, and more) is one block away. Forest Hill MUNI station, offering quick access to downtown and other areas, is a 10-min walk. Within two blocks there are stops for several additional MUNI bus lines that service the Mission, Noe Valley, the Sunset, etc. There are many trails at Mt. Davidson and in Glen Canyon Park, both right in our 'hood, that are perfect for that morning jog or urban hike!
Great appartment, luminous and spacious, in a quiet neighborhood! You will feel like home. I haven't met Jennifer, but she was really nice and responsive by email.
A bit far away from the center, but a excellent quality/price.
Jennifer was out of town with her family so we never actually met but nevertheless, she was in frequent communication to make sure we had all we needed to get settled in. The instructions on local surroundings were thorough and very useful. The house was perfect for our group of 6; clean, spacious and in a location that was close enough to sample the various SF flavours without having to endure some of the more extreme realism of downtown.
This is a very comfortable house in a safe and quiet neighborhood with convenient parking and nearby stores. My family felt right at home. Jennifer was helpful and quick to reply to my inquiries. Many thanks for a great SF experience.
The house was exactly as described - modern and spacious and in a great location. Jennifer was always very quick to respond to our queries and very helpful during our stay. We very much enjoyed our stay and we'd highly recommend Jennifer as a host.
Jennifer was always very helpful and quick to answer my questions. Her instructions were complete and easy to understand. We all really enjoyed our stay - the house was very lovely. We loved the location., too. Would rent from Jennifer again in a second.
Jennifer was an excellent & responsive host for my family, even when out of town! Their home is in a great location, especially if you want to avoid tourist hell. Well kept home with sufficient amenities for a family. Easy access to the freeway, small shops for the bare necessities, and only a stone's throw to popular parts of the city. I will definitely look to book this place again with Jennifer in the future!
Great experience. The house is exactly as described by Jennifer. Spacious, Modern, with up to date facilities and very comfortable. We did not cook, but the kitchen would be a great option for those open to enjoy home cooking. Wifi worked very well and at fast speed. Jennifer provided very good information in advance and was available to answer questions and help with details, during our stay. The location is as describer, about 25 minutes to downtown, via bus + metro. Also, it is less than 1o minutes drive to the areas of Mission, Castro, and others. Only comment about location is up in a hill and it seems to have a "almost permanent' fog courtain in this part of town, but this is San Francisco anyway. Once you go down from the hill's it opens up.
I am a proud resident of the vibrant City by the Bay! After growing up on the East Coast, I moved to SF in my early 20's, and here I am, 7 years later and still loving every moment here. My husband Chris and I are now in our 30's, and as much as we enjoy our time in San Francisco, we spend many weekends visiting friends & family, skiing in Tahoe and traveling to new places. We bought a beautiful home last year and want to join AirBnB so others can take advantage of our great place while we're away.
More about us...during the week, Chris is a high school teacher and I work at a hedge fund. Our weekends in town often involve dance music, watching sporting events, and doing activities like tennis and cycling to stay healthy together. We love the big, fun network of energetic SF friends that always keeps us on our toes. We are excited about the opportunity to meet new folks through airbnb and to help visitors have the best time ever while in SF.
