From the terrace you can see the Neretva River and the many symbols of Mostar. We love symbols here. Here are the sofa-beds and a retro box TV, where you can watch dozens of English and local language channels. Immerse yourself in CNN, Fox Movies or Balkan turbo folk.

Stay in Mostar's only Super Awesome loft, support a local startup while you're here.

Ours is a top floor apartment with a terrace and beautiful views of the city, around 12 mins' walk from the Old Town/Bridge and 7 mins from the bus/train station.

Our street is named after this country's greatest poet, Aleksa Santic. On it you'll find a microcosm of the world: schools, youth centre and band venue, pool and night club, a radio station, the local chapter of Jehova's Witnesses, the prison, the City Mayor and the drunk guy in front of Merkur.

The loft is a bright, open space with a dining table, work desk, fireplace, air-con, two (double) sofa-beds, a (cable) TV and WIFI. There are two more single mattresses in a little area upstairs, although it's not as comfy up there so you might want to take dibs on sleeping downstairs.

The kitchen is well-equipped (including coffee, tea etc) and the bathroom has a washing machine and fresh towels if you need them. There's also (free) parking in front of the building.

This is an ideal apartment for 2-3 people who appreciate open space and natural light and sleeping well. You'll always sleep well here.

We can also organise for you a tour of Mostar, transfers to/from Sarajevo/Dubrovnik/Split, and anything else that might tickle your fancy while you're in town.

When no-one is staying over, the apartment is a meeting room for Soonfeed, a Mostar-born startup and the first timeline of what's happening soon on the web. Proceeds from your stay will help us to bring Soonfeed to the world.

The super awesome loft was perfect for us. A stones throw from the old town but just far enough removed from the crowds, restaurants etc. It feels like your staying in someone rooftop, all self contained with a great view casting over Mostar. Richard and his accomplice Marko we’re great. While I didn’t interact with Richard in person he was always quick and responsive. Marko meet with us late on a Sunday night and showed us to the apartment, gave us some local insight into the surrounds and even helped with the bags. (no elevators here). When departing he kindly meet with us and arranged a cab to avoid the pouring rain. Start Most and old town in general is 10-15mins on foot, but is an easy flat walk as you wonder into town. A large new shopping centre with the biggest Konzum supermarket I’ve seen is a 5mins walk from the apartment. Excellent AC for the hot summer was a godsend and WiFi rates as excellent with a fast cable connection (20Mbps). We chose to sleep up stairs in the loft as there were dedicated mattresses already setup, be sure use to the AC to it’s potential as it can get hot up there! Overall great apartment, with great hosts. Beware of the 7 flights of stairs if you have heavy luggage (like we did).

Everything was terrific! Apartment is as described. Hosts were great! Location was Ideal.. Highly recommend... 1. Hosts: Richard is lighting fast to reply to inquiries. Marko was very helpful, also always available when we had questions. They helped us organize transportation to and from Mostar, which was a huge help. 2. Apartment: Very comfortable! Beautiful views of the city. Open layout..Fully furnished and equipped with all you need. nice kitchen if you prefer to stay in and cook. Everything was in order and it was easy to enjoy. AC works beautifully, which is very important in summer months. 3. Location: we found the location excellent. You can walk to the historic part of the city in a few minutes.. also the Mepas mall is literally around the corner which was very convenient. It is basically walking distance from most things a tourist would be interested in.... Thank you Richard and Marko.. The apartment and your help made our visit to Mostar easy and enjoyable.

Richard was away so his friend Marko showed us the place. Communication with both guys was very fast and effortless. The apartment has, in my opinion, a great location: far enough from bars and traffic to give you a good night's sleep, and in a "normal" area slightly away from the touristic old town. A good place to stay if you are not looking for any fancy holiday apartment.

Marko met us near the apartment and helped us get our luggage up to the top floor. A very friendly student and conversationalist who answered our questions and showed us around the apartment. The apartment is spacious and clean, with a nice balcony overlooking Mostar. It was a short walk to the main part of town. Our stay was short but a pleasant one. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Fell in love with Mostar the first time I visited. In Turkish the word "Balkan" means Honey ("bal") and Blood ("kan"). I can think of no better way to describe the place.
