I felt very welcome. Location was very central. Couldn't be any better. Minutes of walk to Temple and hotel de Ville with great restaurants and bars and GREAT shopping! Michael was there trying to make sure I understand how to use appliances and was also very available for help even after. It was very clean and the readiness of the room was very thorough. Everything in the place is very new so nothing was broken and falling apart. Especially the bathroom and kitchen were great. Water pressure, cleaniness, space was better than most of the 4-5 star hotels in Europe with full cable and even a landline! Of course, there was wifi. i would definitely stay here again.
Michael is a great host. The apartment is just as the pictures, exquisitely planned, beautiful, flooded with light, and also clean w. fresh flowers. We were delighted to detect both Notre Dame and Centre Pompidou from the nice roof top view of Paris! Michael responded fast and adjusted our departure time for our convenience. He took his time to explain everything to us, and provided a nice tailored, printed guide to all you need to know about the apt., great restaurants in the area (Mon Dieu, they're good!), city map, short Marais history, and more. Michael is a very nice, considerate person and we highly recommend a stay!
This is a fabulous place to stay in Paris! I've stayed at many airbnb apartments and this one is the best yet.
The location is ideal. It is in an interesting and fun neighborhood, close to transportation connections, is within easy walking distance of most Paris sights (we didn't use the metro at all, and walked to the RER for airport connections). It also has the advantage of being on a street closed to traffic, which kept things very quiet at night.
The apartment is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. The furnishings/shower/bed/bathroom are all of very high quality. The space itself is gorgeous - posted photos are accurate. There are thoughtful amenities such as a power converter, a phone with free calls to the US, and information about area restaurants. We appreciated the flowers and bottle of wine left for us.
Communication was excellent before and during our stay. We had to modify our reservation twice due to flight changes, and this was handled promptly.
I give this apartment my highest recommendation and hope to be back myself some day!
The Apartment is small (T0) but it's so well decorated and cosy that size is irrelevant.
We loved the light and the airy feeling of the Apartment, specially the 2 loft windows with a fabulous view to Paris' rooftops.
The bathroom and the kitchen are very well equiped and you can have some wonderful meals because the neighbourhood streets are full of tasty pâtisseries and gourmet food shops.
It was our 3rd time in Paris and we just loved The Marais with its narrow streets full of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Michael is a dedicated host, he gave us some useful tips and we appreciated the flowers, wine and Nespresso capsules touch.
Wonderful Apartment, top neighbourhood The Marais.
Thank you Michael!
Andy and I visited paris for a couple of nights and soundly be happier with the apartment and Michael as a host.
Michael was at the aparwnt to greet us on arrival and give us an introduction to the area and how things worked in the apartment.
The flat itself is situated on he too floor (you can see the Eiffel towel on a clear day), is clean and practical.
The location is great! Situated amongst restaurants, bars and boutique shops, only walking distance from the nearest metro and the sights of paris.
We will be back! Thanks again Michael.
Amazing apartment (exactly like the pictures or even better), warm and clean. As other have written before, a very nice bottle of wine was there for us and the madeleines for breaskfast are really nice. The nespresso coffee machine in the house was amazing to not go out in the morning and going around craving for coffee (which I hate more than anything). perfect location, super close to the tube station and the Marais on Sundays is one of the best things I've ever seen.
Michael was very nice and caring, and he let us leaving the luggage at the apartment until afternoon since we had a late flight.
I will definetely go back there when i'll go to paris again!
From the very start (first contact) to the very end (late check-out) everything with Michael as a host was super smooth, easy and made to match our very needs. Although I kind of like keeping insider tipps to myself ;-) I can only highly recommend Michael and of course his beautiful place in the nicest part of fashionable Marais. The apartment is spotless, with beautiful antique furniture as well as all modern appliances one could wish for. WIFi worked superb, there is a flat screen TV, a nespresso coffee maker (and even madeleines for your first bite with coffee in the morning), the bathroom is brand-new and very nice (spicy shower with great water pressure and a rain shower), a very comfortable and big bed with nice and crispy white linens up to an ironing board! - to make it short: everything is there, looks beautiful and is of high quality. But the very very very best is sleeping under the stars and looking over the Parisian rooftops. It is so romantic and I will definitely be back whenever I am in Paris! Thank you Michael!
