Yellowstone National Park has been a top tourist destination since its opening in 1872. And your WorldMark West Yellowstone is the perfect location for seeing the park's hundreds of geysers (including the world-famous Old Faithful), pools of boiling mud, and an amazing assembly of wildlife, such as bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Yellowstone's west entrance is just one block from your resort.
While the national park is certainly its top draw, West Yellowstone (pop. 1,177) is also an ideal location for skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. The area's backcountry and telemark skiing is considered tops in the nation. You can also discover the town's gift shops, galleries, and specialty stores, and take in a show at the Playmill Theatre downtown.
For inquisitive minds, there are two museums that should not be missed. History buffs should head to the Museum of the Yellowstone, which depicts the area's early days. And The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center--right across the street from your resort--gives you the chance to learn about these animals up close and personal.
Please note: Motor vehicle traffic is not permitted through Yellowstone National Park's west entrance from early November to late April every year. However, the entrance remains open to hikers and cross-country skiers year-round. The only entrance that remains open year-round to motor vehicles is the north entrance, 50 to 176 miles, depending on the time of year.
Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone, America’s and the world’s first national park, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Within its 3,472 square miles are the geyser Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, hundreds of geysers and hot springs, and abundant wildlife.
The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center
A not-for-profit wildlife park and educational facility, the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center has eight grizzly bears, two packs of gray wolves, and six birds of prey that are all unable to live in the wild for different reasons. Learn about the animals through exhibits, as well as by observing them.
Museum of the Yellowstone
Housed in the historic Union Pacific Depot, exhibits on the U.S. Cavalry, trappers, cowboys, and Native Americans show the area’s early days. Displays and videos about the region’s largest earthquake in 1959, and devastating fires in 1988 tell a darker story. The museum is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

We had a wonderful time and Ray was a gracious host and checked with us regularly to ensure we had every thing we needed.
Rey was very helpful and the unit was immaculate! I loved the hot tubs, pool, view, and enjoyed New Years Eve by relaxing in front of the fireplace, watching movies, and exploring West Yellowstone. It was everything I wanted in the midst of a Montana winter.
Rey was terrific. Tried to help any way he could. Very accommodating to our dynamic needs. I give the property 4 stars, and Rey 5. The property was nice and exactly what we needed for our small family but upon arrival they had us double booked which created more work for me (while on vacation) to make sure the financials were in order.
We stayed at Rey's for 2 nights. The condo is well placed if you're going into Yellowstone from the west entrance and size-wise is large. I would say the best features are the amenities which the resort provide, for the area they are satisfactory. Bottom line - if you're looking for something simple near the park for a decent price this is your place. *Note: Under the amenities tab Rey lists wireless internet - but know that you need to sign up for an account and pay a fee per day.
Beautiful condo! Very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed.
This condo was a pleasure to stay in. Highly recommended.
The place was wonderful! Everyone at the resort was very helpful and nice. The condo was very clean and spacious. All of our needs were met! I would recommend anyone to stay here!
