Cozy 2bdr - Downtown - Pets Okay!

House - Entire home/apt · Northwest Hill Street, Bend, OR 97701, United States

The wonderful benefit of this home is its closeness to downtown and the Old Mill District with the Amphitheater nearby, just 15 minutes in each direction.
It's also quiet and comfortable and provides the feeling of being in a real home.

The Space

Recently remodeled two-bedroom with its vaulted ceilings and bright spacious feeling, has tons of charm and all new amenities!

Each bedroom has a queen size bed and is adjacent to the custom-tiled bathroom. The open floor plan blends the kitchen, with its peninsula and bar stools, to the living room with its over-sized sofa and chair.

I don't tend to approve splitting up Friday and Saturday weekend nights, but if it's really important we can work something out. I'll likely charge the Sunday night as a weekend night.

You are welcome to bring your pet(s) for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $10/pet/night. Please let me know in advance and I will create a Special Offer (since there isn't a pet fee option on AirBnB), or you can pay it when you arrive.

PET RULES:
-no pets on the furniture
-please do not leave your pets unattended if they are not accustomed to being in unfamiliar places. Complaints from neighbors may result in a $100 penalty and request to vacate the apartment.
-please bring your own 'doggie bags' in order to pick up after your pets. My lawn thanks you in advance!
Any pet damage will be subtracted from your security deposit.

The location is ideal for a short stroll to Sparrow Bakery, Boneyard Brewery, the Taco Stand, the Old Stone Church, and all the rest of downtown Bend. Make yourself at home!

  • The Hill House cottage was awesome. My mother and I stayed in the 2 bedroom and brought our dogs - which was so great to be able to do. The vaulted ceilings really open up the space and the interior touches are warm and welcoming. (Decorating side note - I loved the bathroom floor tile work). The bedrooms are just the right size, and the kitchen/living space has a great flow. The house is a short walk to Drake Park and the main streets of downtown Bend - perfect for the dogs and us humans. It's also a short walk (about 10 blocks) to Jackson's Corner - a favorite place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Hannah - the owner - was super quick to respond to any questions I had before and during my stay. :) I will definitely be back!!!!

  • We absolutely loved our little cozy 2bdr house. So beautifully remodeled. All new inside, so clean. We enjoyed it so much because it was so centralize. So close to downtown, could walk to Winterfest that was in the Old Mill District. We were told to be sure and go to the Boneyard Brewery and it was just out behind us. We enjoyed how quiet it was, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you
    So grateful!

  • Great location! We loved our stay at this sweet, little "cottage". It has all the amenities you might need as well as some unexpected extras. Well maintained and clean. Nice, plentiful linens, comfortable beds, & plenty of hot water.
    Cute, cozy, & comfortable.

Hannah was great in all communications- prompt, professional and pleasant.

  • What a perfect spot! My friends and I had a great time here. There was enough basic cooking stuff in the kitchen for us to make a nice big meal, and close enough to walk downtown for all our shopping, dining, and brewery tasting needs! Convenient location and plenty of room for everybody. Nice and clean as well.

  • Hannah's place was perfect! It was exactly as described, with a big open sitting room/kitchen/eating area, bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and a great bathroom that made us feel like we were in a fancy hotel! Everything was immaculate. Our pre-arrival communication with Hannah was always met with quick and helpful responses. We enjoyed our stay, the location is great, the neighborhood was quiet, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks, Hannah. I hope we'll be back to stay in your lovely condo again.

  • Very clean. So comfortable. We walked in and it just smelled clean. Not wall plugin clean, actual clean... from clean comfortable linens. Beds were super comfy. Our three year old had one all to herself. We barricaded her in the bed with the big pillows, and she settled in to her room. We didn't actually walk much - so lazy! But it was definitely possible. The high ceilings, spotless bathroom, comfortable beds, gave it a sense of luxury - at least to me! I had originally wanted hot tub, etc. But opted for this as it was family friendly, and frankly I never felt the compromise. No one seemed to be in the town home next door, so I can't attest to noise. It was truly quiet for us. Safeway down the street. We didn't actually use the kitchen but fridge was clean and big. Used the coffee maker ;) Given the cooler temps at night, probably good to set the thermostats on the little wall heaters. When we did this, we were cozy. Probably got the best sleep here than we have on any vacation. I realize this is often due to the whim of our child, but we all seemed to relax here.

About
I've been a world traveler since my Peace Corps parents got me a passport when I was two years old, and I've been seeking out new adventures ever since. From Ecuador to Geneva and Nepal to Borneo, I'm always game to see a new place, and love being able to share my own home to other travelers passing through. These days I travel with my daughter, Bianca, with whom I am eager to share my love of new cultures and foreign places. Hope to see you soon!
