Lexington Orange North is your private modern luxurious retreat in the middle of bustling and historic Hollywood.
It is a home fully renovated in the first quarter of 2013 and is located on a corner-lot property in the heart of Hollywood, just a few blocks from the Hollywood & Highland complex (Dolby Theatre, Chinese Theatre, Walk of Fame, Roosevelt Hotel, etc.)- considered the center-point for the entertainment capital of the world. In addition, the West Hollywood Gateway (Target, Starbucks, etc.) is only 2 blocks away. The neighborhood is mixed-use, consisting of homes built in the 1920s, newer apartments/condos, entertainment production/post-production studios and digital labs. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. 'The Lot', part of Warner Brothers Studios, is only 4 blocks away. Radio Recorders, a historic recording studio where Elvis Presley (and many others) recorded music, is one block away.
The home is re-imagined to be an architecturally modern and comfortable home consisting of 2 units, designed and furnished by a published Designer, for hip luxury living. It is one house, divided into two private units (north and south), with mirror-image floor plans. Either side is completely private, only sharing a private gated driveway. A tall hedge surrounds the house, providing additional secure privacy.
This is the NORTH UNIT in a 1,000 square feet of smartly divided spaces that consists of a master en-suite bedroom (there is a bathroom attached), a small lofted 'floating bedroom' above the main living space, a second bathroom on the ground floor, and a fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances and everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and convenient that opens to a dining area, office, and living room with vaulted ceilings and a 16-foot tall gas fireplace. This unit can accommodate up to 5 persons and has central heat and air. A third bed (inflatable air mattress with memory foam topper, twin or queen size, toddler bed, or infant bassinet) is available for a one-time setup fee of $50/bed. It also has a washer and dryer, internet/Wi-Fi, and LED flat screen televisions with satellite channels. A private garden with a trellis, outdoor dining and grill, sunning area surrounded by fruit trees and fragrant flowering vines makes this unit very special. There is a secured gated parking that comes with renting this unit.
A baby chair is also available to rent during your stay for a one-time fee of $50.
Additional cleaning may be requested during your stay for a $100 each time.
Babysitting may be available upon request ($20 per hour), the paid service included board games and gaming consoles with video games (Nintendo wii & XBOX 360 Kinect).
A Rental Agreement in PDF is sent after you book. It just describes the house in detail as well as maintenance schedule of the house (gardener, trash collection days, etc.). It also described in detail what may affect the refund of your security/damage deposit.
This property is also available for television/film/photo shoots. Please contact owner for specific rates.

LIABILITY: The Homeowners privately own the rental unit and are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of Guest personal belongings or valuables. By accepting this reservation, all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of, or others whom they invite, to use the premises.
This document serves as the Rental Contract. You do not need to sign or print anything. By reading this entire document and renting/booking the unit(s), you are abiding to and accepting the rental policies as listed in this document.
Refundable $500 security/damage deposit required. Refunded 3-5 days after check-out as long as nothing is missing or damaged.
No smoking. Forfeiture of Security deposit if there is a sign of smoking activity inside the house.
No pets. Forfeiture of Security deposit if there is a sign of pets inside the property.
No loud noise (loud TVs/stereos, etc.) after 10pm.
I really enjoyed staying at the house. We arrived to a clean and modern looking place. We even received a nice bottle of wine. The area was extremely beautiful and would love to stay there again in the near future.

My experience was great! D&J are very easy to communicate with, they have a lot of knowledge of the area. This is my second time staying here and it won't be the last! To begin with the initial start was great. I was sent heaps of information, suggestions and instructions by my hosts and had no problem once in the property finding my way around and using the amenities. The house is incredible, super luxurious and perfect if you want to spoil yourself and experience the hollywood lifestyle. It was cosy yet still modern with a great interior design plus layout. We barely wanted to leave and when we did we couldn't wait to get back. It really felt like home. Great location, really I'm the mix of things but far enough that you won't hear the noise from the busy city all night. Really ideal for the vacation I wanted. Relaxing and a surreal experience overall. Thanks again for your amazing care and the lovely treats tray. Great visit thanks to you guys!
This space was absolutely amazing. It's a perfect space for up to 4 guests, and the parking spot was very convenient. The location was great, I was able to get to Griffith Observatory and K-town within minutes. Everything was clean and organized. As soon as I booked, Jhoiey and Doug sent a bunch of e-mails with a list of things to do and places to eat in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Hollywood area. I would love to stay here again.

Doug and Jhoiey have been together since 2005, and each enjoy architecture, traveling, and design together- they purchased this home with those elements in mind- to bring the traveler to the heart of Hollywood and provide a unique vacation rental property that emphasizes comfort and modern design. Jhoiey is a designer and artist, born in the Philippines. Doug is a camera operator for a national entertainment TV show, and can possibly tell you where the stars may be hanging out during your stay :)
