Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

  • I am very glad that in Lisbon I chose an apartment rather than a hotel.
And that I chose Santa Catarina Apartment.
Lovely apartment is small, but absolutely sufficient for two persons.
All-everything necessary for life - fridge, microwave, stove, kettle, coffee machine, every kitchen utensils. Nice linens and towels. Good wi-fi.
We were not very lucky with the weather, there were rains, but the air conditioner and heater helped dry things
The apartment is very cozy and quiet. Sleep there was just wonderful.
It was very romantic to wake up from the church bell ringing.
Very convenient location in Lisbon, close to the metro, close to the train stations Rossio and Cais do Sodre, close to the river. Close to everything!
Pedro thank you so much that you waited for our late arrival and everything showed and explained. Thank you for a lovely cozy and clean apartment!

  • Our stay in Pedro's apartment has been a wonderful moment. He has been a perfect host, everything was explained very clearly to us, all was absolutely clean and tidy at our arrival. We had several towels, a few coffees and chocolates, some Lisbon guides... We had everything we needed and more. The place itself had a lot of charm and was well located. The only small downpoint would be the ultra-low ceiling in the bathroom that make you take your shower crooked. But it's nothing that important, and we had a really nice time. I would highly recommand this place !

  • O apartamento é excelente.Adoramos a nossa estadia e recomendamo-no a todos!
My husband and I loved this cozy little studio. The design is great, view over red Lissbon roofs is awesome, though beware of steep stairs. Especially when leaving (it's a little bit hard to get down with big suitcases). But it's a good exercise every day. lol. Also there is everything a traveller needs: for cooking, for washing, for making coffee and what not. And a very good working air conditioner.
Besides location is great. Right around the corner there is a church which will substitute an alarm clock for you. There is a viewpoint over the Tejo river and Lisbon in less than 100 meters from the apartment, as well as elevador de Bica. Tram stop of the famous #28 tram is also very close to the apartment as well as the subway station. There are two railway stations in about 15 minutes walk: Rossio and Cais do Sodre from where you can go to Sintra and Cascais respectively. And near the cais do Sodre there is a very good market with frash fish, meat vegetables and fruits. Advice from locals: fish is good and fresh since Wednesday, Monday and Tuesday better buy some meat.
By the way, right around the corner there is taverna Portuguesa, a very nice place to spend evening with your friends. They serve Portuguese wine and appetizers, every day new ones.
And the last, but no the least. Pedro and Antonio are great hosts. Always ready to answer any questions and to help. We arrived very late, at midnight, and Antonio was waiting for us at the apartment.
    Good job, guys. Keep going.

  • Une super adresse idéalement placée entre le bairro Alto et le Chiado. L'appartement est chaleureux et les 5 fenêtres offrent une jolie vue sur les toits lisboetes.

  • We had an amazing stay at the Santa Catarina Apartment - I am filled with nostalgia just typing up this review! The team was great, answering all my queries within a reasonable time frame. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos - a cute, cozy wooden hideaway on the top floor of one of the typical colourful houses in Bairro Alto.

The place felt incredibly spacious for what it was, and I loved the interior design. It really felt like a "home", which was exactly what I was looking for as this was my first time using AirBnB.

The location couldn't have been better - I really loved the funky Bairro Alto district, with its eclectic mix of bars, restaurants and independent stores, with something for every budget. The elegant Chiado district was an easy walk away, as was Principe Real, with its gorgeous green spaces and trendy boutiques.

Transport-wise the area is well serviced with buses and the metro line, and the famous no. 28 tram was just around the corner. We found the apartment to be a good base from which to discover the city, as we really visited a lot of areas in our five days in Lisbon.

You do need to be aware of the ceiling, which slopes downwards dramatically in some parts of the apartment: namely the sleeping pods, the bathroom and the fridge/washing machine area. If you are tall and/or clumsy, you might bump your head on the ceiling. I wasn't particularly bothered by this, but my 6'2'' boyfriend did bump his head on several occasions. The bathroom in particular has a "challenging" ceiling design, so tall people would have to kneel or crouch down in order to shower.

Overall though we both had an amazing time, in large part due to this gorgeous apartment, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • It is a very cosy little appartment inn the 3rd floor of an city house in the middle of Lisbon. The communication with Pedro and Antonio was excellent, everything went good!

The appartment offers everything you need to prepare food (such as toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine) and also has a little radiator, as it can get a bit cold in winter (we stayed here in the beginning of february).

We would very much reccomment this appartment to young people wishing to stay for a few days to explore Lisbon.

  • It was a perfect spot for visiting Lissabon!
The appartment was very cozy, and warm.
Pedro and his team were friendly.
    So book the appartment!

Portuguese design and history enthusiast that lived and studied abroad for a while. I really enjoy reading, travelling and history. Our apartments were designed in a way, that You feel You are in a XXI century apartment but at the same time, the history, materials and structure were maintained. I have a crush on designing and developing spaces, so creating these apartments from scratch was a really great challenge, experience and project. I am really sure You will enjoy them!
