  • Delhi was my first stop during my first trip to India.

Aradhna's staff made me feel extremely comfortable and at home. They even helped me book a taxi from the airport when my flight landed at midnight and train tickets to my upcoming destinations the following few days.

The room was very clean and decorative. The rooftop patio was amazing as well.

It was great to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of Delhi while at the apartment.

I would highly recommend On the House to any travelers in Delhi. It's centrally located and very cozy. I would stay here if I ever find myself in Delhi again.

Thank you all for an amazing experience. India can be quite intense and intimidating when you first arrive - and I really appreciated the sense of security I felt at On the House.

  • On the house was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of delhi. The home was clean and cozy. I appreciated the breakfast everyday because they made it a point to serve fresh fruit with breakfast. The staff at the home were super and helpful to boot. Definately worth it especially if plan to be in delhi for a few days. There are cute common areas you can use apart from your room which is a nice. I would definately come back. I had a package that was too heavy for me to fly with and they were very helpful and let me keep it there till I found a way to get it shipped to me. Thumbs up overall!

  • On the House is a quaint, charming B&B in the Southern section of New Delhi - quiet and easeful, and, away from the madding crowd (which I prefer). It is also a 10-15 walk from the Green Park station on the Metro (the transit system is great: efficient, inexpensive, clean, reliable). I took a rickshaw for 30-40 rupees to the Metro a few times when it was too hot to walk or i was running late for an appt.

Promod was an incredible & gracious host, repeatedly going above and beyond to answer my queries about where to go and what to visit while in Delhi and India in general. I was curious about Lodi Gardens & Promod offered to take me there as is his custom to walk there each morning. While that plan didn't work out bc I'd over-booked sight-seeing, Promod was incredibly gracious. He offered recommends for Spas (the one I chose, VLCC - just outside the neighborhood's gate, was excellent: 90 min deep-tissue/thai body work session - with Shannon, fabulous, 30 min head massage, 30 min feet reflexology, steam, and hair cut/trim all for $90 USD!) .

The entire home staff are lovely, everything prepared with care and consideration. I arrived at 6am and was shown a clean room w/comfortable-firm bed, even though check in doesn't begin until after noon. I slept for several hours and when i woke (past breakfast), I was given a home-cooked meal and offered suggestions of what to see/do.

Roger took me around one day to nearby village with contemporary stores and a beautiful, historical sites of tomb. we strolled thru the deerpark and I learned much more about the area and what it is to live in India than had I tried to venture alone (not to mention, i never would have thought of visiting the village).

Time and again, my requests and questions were met with generosity. I'm grateful for the friendly comfort of On the House and have already requested a return visit when I am back in Delhi.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in the Oak Room at On the House and would readily recommend it to friends. The room was lovely and cozy and we received a warm welcome from the staff. The neighborhood is much quieter than other places in Delhi. It was fun to meet other travelers together at breakfast and nice to sit in the small garden. Aradhna was very helpful with questions we had before our trip as well. We had a pleasant stay in a home-like environment, which is just what we were looking for.
