St. Augustine, the oldest city in Florida, is only 35 miles south of Neptune Beach and a great place to walk along cobblestone streets, enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride or spend the afternoon at the Alligator Farm and look up! A variety of birds may be seen in the trees above the alligators, building their nests, feeding their chicks and some of us have been lucky enough to actually watch them hatch! Great for photographers!
Come visit beautiful North Florida!
Please be respectful of my property. I love my house and you will, too!
Smoking is allowed in the downstairs screened porch or outside.
Marsha was very flexible with my changing schedule and was incredibly welcoming when I finally arrived. I only spent one night at the place but it was warm, and inviting as well as safe and serene. Borrowing the bike to ride to the beach for breakfast was the best!
I had a wonderful stay at The Comfy Neptune Beach house. Marsha is a superb host and my room was gorgeous and perfectly fitted out with snacks, toiletries, lovely bedding and towels. The location is very quiet and comfortable. Access to bikes makes the 2 miles to the town center, bars and beaches of Jax beach a short 5 min ride. A day trip down to St Augustine’s lovely antique houses and cobble stone streets is highly recommended. I can't recommend it enough!
Marsha's place was exactly what i was looking for!... Beautifully landscaped....quiet neighborhood,.. My own bathroom.. Sun porch... Living room And my own bedroom!
Everything was super clean... And nice nice bed linens.... Soft... Not cheap and scratchy!
She also provided me a bike w helmet/ lock if needed.
Marsha was a wonderful host and incredibly hospitable. We very much enjoyed our time staying at her home.
I apologize to Marsha for putting off this review. Just forgetfulness on my part.
I really wish we could have spent more time here, her home and setting was beautiful and it is definitely on our list to return.
Marsha was real accommodating in her home. Coffee, fruit ant treats provided in the morning. The bed was real comfortable as was the den and the Florida room. Just staying in her home and not going anywhere else would be a great vacation. Marsha has a small piece of nature and beauty in her back yard. If her home is available for your stay in this area don't pass it up.
Marsha was very welcoming. We didn't have much free time during our trip, so we actually didn't cross paths with her much, but we felt very much at home.
Marsha is a lovely and welcoming hostess, and her home is a great place to stay while visiting the beach. I had a great vacation and hope to return. Thank you, Marsha!
