Located in very safe and eco-friendly neighborhood, the apartment is walking distance from many restaurants, shops, and local supermarkets. Transport by metro/tube, bus, and even bicycles are available nearby.

The spacious living room area hosts a couch that converts into a double sofa bed for additional guess, as well as an extra guest bed. A dining area for 4-6 can be found in the living room. The entertainment system includes a 32-inch digital TV, cable TV service, Blu-Ray & DVD player surround sound system, I-pod/I-phone speakers. There is fiber optic wireless broadband throughout ((email hidden) mobile phone is provided for your use during your stay.

The bedroom is furnished with a double-size bed fitted with a top quality memory foam mattress and fresh linens. The apartment benefits from blackout blinds for total darkness for a comfortable nights sleep, both in the bedroom and in the living room area for those sleeping on the sofa bed.

A bath and shower can be found in the bathroom along with fresh towels, a hair dryer, and a selection of shampoo and soaps for your convenience.

Making meals is easy with the fully equipped kitchen including: fridge and freezer, gas hob, oven, and microwave. From appliances to utensils, you will find everything you need for a meal on the go or a full course sit down dinner. Enjoy a morning coffee from the latest Nespresso coffee machine with a wide selection of flavor capsules and variety of mugs. A washing machine is conveniently located in the apartment for laundry as is a dishwasher too.

The back door opens up to a lovely covered terrace with seating and out to the garden deck perfect for a breathe of fresh air.

This flat is managed by a professional support team who consistently provide outstanding customer care. The multi-lingual team speaks English, Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

  • We really enjoyed staying at this apartment! The location is perfect, close to the tube station, and the street is filled with charming cafes, pubs, and restaurants. There are plenty of good and cheap breakfast places just downstairs, Tesco is a walk away and there is another grocery shop two blocks away. The street gets rather busy and may be noisy, so my advice is to bring earplugs if you have trouble sleeping. The doors are a bit tricky to lock, just remember to pull them towards you. The first few nights were quite cold, but it got better as the weather improved. The apartment had plenty of blankets and bedding to keep warm during the night, so make sure to look in the cupboards and under the sofa if you need them. Overall, we really liked staying at this apartment and would rent with Paul again in the future.

  • Basic apartment, with basic fit out. Rooms are small and compact for a family of 4 with teenagers. Hot water and heating broke midway through our stay so we were relocated to a nearby apartment for 2 nights while this was fixed (great service that the agent was able to organise this as it was New Years Eve!) but appliances/boiler seem to be in poor repair.
    Handy location in nice area with lots of restaurants. Paul and his staff were helpful in preliminary emails, letting us in and arranging apartment swaps when needed.

  • The apartment is a first floor walk-up, very well located in a neighborhood with a bustling nightlife. Easy walk to train station. Cabs readily available. Rooms were clean. Bath tub was somewhat difficult to navigate, and had a funky system to keep water from splashing onto the floor. Great windows over the street for people watching, especially on Saturday when there were weddings all day long at the Islington Town Hall across the street.

  • The apartment is very nice, well located, (email hidden)ly neighborhood. We were there for 6 days to explore London. The reception is excellent. I have not rated 5 stars for one or two details. Indeed, we were two adults, two teenagers and a child. One of us had to sleep on air mattress that was a little uncomfortable. The shower also deserves to be repaired (leakage). Aside from that, we really enjoyed the connection to the Internet to plan our visits and bus routes and metro. The dish was sufficient to take our breakfasts and our dinners. The aim was not to prepare elaborate meals. We recommend this apartment if you want to sightsee in London with family.

  • While we ended up staying in a different flat than this advertised one. It was still located on upper street not far from Angel. It was in an amazing location and was just what we were looking for. I'd be sure to look up one of Paulo's places next time I'm in the area!

  • The flat is very comfortable, and very well situated. First time visitors to London be not afraid.

    Location: Technically the nearest tube stop of this flat is Highbury & Insilington, which if you look at the map says Zone 2, but it's at the boarder of Zone 1&2. Angel tube stop is a bus ride away or if you prefer to walk, you can as well, but it will take you a little longer than Highbury & Inslington stop. I think Paolo is in the process of putting a map on his welcome packets so one can really have a good idea of how far the stops are.

    NOTE: If you are one of those travelers who prefer to take black cabs in London it will cost you about 15 quid from the West End on a good day without traffic. London black cabs will know where Upper st is but if you want to make it easier for yourself just tell the driver "Islington Town Hall"

    Apartment: Clean, and comfortable, its a good size for 2-3 people although, one might find it a tad cramped if you are more than 3 people The bathroom is well clean and big and the facilities worked fine during my stay. The kitchen is also clean, with a good supply of basic necessities. Crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils.

    Amenities: Paolo provides a mobile phone with a pay as you go SIM card. You will find this very helpful if you are in need of a local number, but travelers who prefer to get their own SIM cards can very well do so there are loads of choices in London that will suit your needs. For example I took advantage of Vodafone's free sim promo and paid 15 pounds which included 500 free local texts and 500MB of data, if you go over that, they will charge you 1 pound max for the day. Just to give you an idea I am a talk/text and data freak after 1 week of virtually having my data plan on 24/7 I still had 8 pounds credit left on my phone so you see it goes a long way.

    General Feedback: If you are thinking of staying in Islington, go ahead and ask Paolo all your questions and concerns as he is quite good in responding back. I would recommend this apartment to people.

  • The apartment was clean and cosy, and had easy access to two tube stations (both within a 10 minute walk) which gave access to multiple tube and train lines. Paolo was great to deal with - very friendly and helpful and the communication beforehand was great. The street that the apartment is situated on was also lovely. Lots of great cafes and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to visitors coming to London!

  • Great place to stay, well equipped little place with close access to two tuber lines. Great little sun deck out the back - shame the sun didny put in an appearance!. Would recommend as good value pplace with plenty of space (for london places).
