Hélène est très accueillante et de bons conseils.
L'appartement est très bien situé même si la rue peut parfois être bruyante en fin de semaine - mais difficile de marier plein centre ville et calme de la campagne ;-)
This was an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of the old city. Great access for restaurants and trams which run frquently. the apartment was clean and comfortable. Helen met us on arrival and was very helpful. We would recommend the apartment and would stay here again.
Helen's apartment was perfectly located in the center of town, close to the tram and the main train station, as well as the lively night life of Bordeaux. The apartment was beautifully furnished and felt very welcoming. I really appreciated the fact that Helen stocked the fridge and pantry with basic necessities such as eggs, milk, juice, bread, etc which was great for a quick breakfast. Helen also provided a nice bottle of wine. Overall, the experience was great and Helen was the perfect host. I highly recommend this apartment.
We went to Bordeaux during Christmas when Helen happened to be on vacation as well. But she has very well organized everything for us before our arrival (also very late arrival in the midnight!) We really appreciate the kind help and cozy home Helen gave us. Very impressive first airbnb experience for us. Hope to be able to see Helen face to face in Bordeaux! Strongly recommend!
Really nice apartment, with double bed and sofa bed. Bread and wine in kitchen, which was a good extra. Very good central location, near to lots of bars and restaurants, as well as tram stops (only takes 10 mins on tram to Gare St Jean). Helen is very friendly: I would happily stay there again!
Helen was very helpful and responsive when we were preparing our trip to Bordeaux. Her apartment was clean and well presented and cozy. Its located very centrally and within very easy walking distance to many restaurants and bars.
Great apartment in an excellent location. Check-in and check-out were very easy and Helen was very welcoming and helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use and the availability of a washing machine is excellent. The apartement really feels like a home away from home. As weary travellers we made the most of the DVD collection.
The apartment is small and compact, and very well organised. The beds were comfortable and we found it cosy and generally quiet. The central location is a major asset. The double set of stairs are not recommended for those who are frail or have lots of heavy luggage.
Once we picked up our key everything went smoothly and we appreciated Helen's advice.
Great location right in the center of Bordeaux with easy access to tram, near Tourism office where buses and wines tours start.
Helen is a very nice host, easy to communicate and very responsive. Only one remark, shut the windows when you sleep in summer because there are mosquitos in Bordeaux. I got bitten 10 times because I slept on the sofa, I then understood why she (email hidden) on the bed.
I definitely recommend the place.
