Interaction with Guests
We rent our entire property so we will not be staying there at all during our Guest's stay. We try our best to meet the Guest when they move in to show them around and at the end to collect the keys. However, we also have a secure process to exchange keys even when we cannot meet, and we have a series of videos that we share access to in order to introduce you to our home. We're always available 24/7 by email, text or phone during your stay. Some guests like to interact a lot, asking for recommendations on restaurants, kid's activities, local outdoor activities, etc. Others we hear from at the beginning and then the end only. Whatever the Guest prefers!

The City of Mountain View is one of five Bay Area cities participating in the Bay Area Bike Share Program launched in 2013. The system enables members (24 hour, 3-day, and annual memberships available) to check out a bike from a network of automated stations, ride to their destination, and return the bike to a different station. It provides a convenient and affordable transportation alternative or supplement to cars.

Mike and Anne were incredibly hospitable, sent us a detailed write-up of the restaurant we were going to, welcomed us with open arms. Their home was equally hospitable, with wine and juice waiting for us in the kitchen, a fabulous hottub out back, and all the amenities you need. Plus the bed was super comfy!
The house is magnificent, and Mike is a great host. Being able to walk to Castro St. for dinner or just a stroll is awesome. I had to cut my trip short, but even my shortened experience was amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Anne and Mike were terrific hosts! They were super responsive to me and my family, and they went the extra mile to ensure that we had a comfortable stay in their lovely home. My two-year-old was with us, and Anne and Mike provided a high chair, as well as a wonderful play room and backyard to keep the kiddo entertained and amused. The home was much larger than the photos depicted it and had a wonderful charm to it. We walked to downtown Mountain View several times and never got tired of how convenient and lovely the stroll was. Great neighborhood, great home and great hosts!
Anne and Mike were excellent hosts. I stayed in their home for a few days with some colleagues while traveling to Mountain View for business. Mike greeted us upon arrival in the evening, showed us around and instantly made us feel at home. The house is comfortable -- everyone slept well, we cooked and ate in the kitchen and enjoyed the back patio. The location is also perfect, just a few blocks from downtown MV (we walked to the main street every day) and the train if you need that for tranportation.
When you stay here, don't forget to try the fresh eggs and a lime from the lime tree!
The reservation was canceled 71 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

About the Host, Anne And Mike
Anne and Mike have been a couple since meeting at the University of Michigan in 1986. We love to travel and have lived in France, Japan, and China. We also had the pleasure of taking 18 months to travel the world in 1998 and 1999, visiting 15+ countries on a very low budget. We settled in beautiful Mountain View, CA in 2000 and have two active boys (7 and 9 years old).
We have rented people's places on some of our world travels and our goal is always to leave the house just as we found it.
