Kivitasku is a peaceful lakeside estate in Muurame, Central Finland, about 15 km south of Jyväskylä. The unique features and harmonious nature makes Kivitasku the perfect place for overnight stays, parties, meetings, vacations and unforgettable finnish sauna experiences.

Kivitasku's log cabin "Takatasku" is located on the shore of a beautiful lake, in the middle of a forest. Come and enjoy the silence of nature and forget the hustle and bustle of life.

The space
Kivitasku log cabin 'Takatasku' is an atmospheric and peaceful accommodation on the shore of a forested lake. Come and escape the hustle and bustle of life alone, with family or friends.

The cabin is a characterful two-story log cabin built around 2010 from salvaged old logs. The downstairs has an open kitchen and living area, as well as a sofa bed. Upstairs there are sleeping areas for four (a double bed and two single beds), a desk and a balcony.

You can also spend time on the covered terrace that goes around the entire house, which also has a gas grill in its immediate vicinity.

The cabin does not have its own sauna, but those who wish can take a sauna in an exotic trailer sauna right on the lake shore. The farm also has a sturdy Haiku sauna, whose soft, humid steam "löyly" can be experienced during public hours, on Wednesdays from 5-9 pm (June, July, August).

The cabin has a heating / cooling air heat pump.

In addition to the log cabin, you have access to a campfire site and a beach by the forest pond. You can also meet chickens and sheep in the of Kivitasku Estate. Welcome!
