Our flat is located in the village of Porthtowan, a cove on the dramatic Atlantic coast of Cornwall. Porthtowan is in the World Heritage area between St.Agnes, Redruth and Portreath, as a resort there something for everybody; it has wide golden sands, spectacular sea & surf, rock pools, towering cliffs and a tidal swimming pool. There is also cliff walking, cycle trails and horse riding nearby. The Altantic waves make the beach a popular surfing destination and there is a surf school situated in the village. Porthtowan is a Blue Flag beach and is attended by RNLI lifeguards throughout the holiday months. Children play all day on the sand dunes overlooked by the flat and there is a river with little bridges and a playground close by. The flat is part of a complex of 20 flats built about thirty years ago, which also contains the renowned 'Blue Bar' bar/restaurant, an ice cream parlour, surf board & wet suit hire, beach shop, cafe and hair/beauty salon. The sunsets are stunning viewed from the terrace of the Blue Bar, or indeed from the balcony of No.12 Seaspray.

We had a wonderful holiday at Anika and Gwith's home in Porthtowan. The kitchen/living room overlooks the beach. It's a fabulous view, and the room gets lots of light. The home has underfloor heating so was lovely and warm even in a cold frosty February. We have a young family and the use of a travel cot was really handy. Anika and Gwith were really easy to get in touch with beforehand. We would definitely go back !
Great flat - cracking location over the beach + everything you need for a relaxing break especially if you have kids. Thanks very much
Wonderful location first of all. Sat on the balcony drinking wine and watching the surfers! Place is lovely, underfloor heating much appreciated in the winter chill! The flat has everything you could need, whatever length your stay.
Thank you for the lovely stay. The flat was beautiful, clean and tidy and was in a great location. The underfloor heating was brilliant and made our stay really cosy over new year. We really recommend staying at Anika and Gwith's place.
We had a lovely stay in Porthtowan. The flat is amazingly situated above the beach.... falling asleep with the sound of the waves was beautiful. The flat was very clean and cosy and very well equipped. We had everything we needed and felt really at home. Great great hosts and a lovely place and just one of those short trips that is worth a world of holidays.... we were sad to leave and hope to come back soon :)

We are a couple who have 2 young children and live and work in London. We are passionate about living in the city and like to share the London we know and love. Our house is in a great location with easy access to all the attractions that London has to offer. Our holiday flat is in Porthtowan, overlooking the sea on the north coast of Cornwall. We we have family in the local area and we love to spend our holidays there. Porthtowan is a wonderful place to visit for couples, single people and families alike. Young and old there is something for everyone! Stunning views, great surfing, wide sands and fantastic coastal walks.
