This home is a sanctuary, so it's not a party-house, it's elegantly decorated and perfect for mature, responsible adults who need a quiet place to rest and relax.
I also have a great collection of art/design/photography books, and a nice cooking kitchen.
I would love to advise you on great Austin spots and make recommendations for whatever you need during your stay. (food, music, art, outdoors, etc.)

The address listed is NOT the correct address, for privacy reasons. PLEASE make sure you get the correct address from me.
I am looking for clean, respectful, mature, responsible adults. No smoking inside. I have central AC/HEAT, but please turn it off when you are not home. In trying to be more eco-conscious, the ideal guest will try to conserve waters by not using fresh towels every day, unless absolutely necessary. Please inform me of any additional guests who might be visiting you at the house. Thank you!
This was the ideal base for exploring Austin. There's a very comfortable and homey feel to this house, which is nestled in a quiet neighborhood about a 10-15 min drive or 30-40 minute walk from the Austin nightlife hotspots. Ashley was very helpful in making sure we got to the house okay and settled in. She also is a great source for some good recommendations of things to do and places to eat, drink, and be merry. Would stay here again.
We had a great time staying in A.C.'s home. Easy walk to downtown, restaurants and shopping. It's in a great neighborhood. The house is loaded with interesting artifacts and books. Very relaxing, clean and cozy beds. A.C. reached several times to check on us, offered recommendations etc. I would most certainly stay here again.
I had a very nice time sharing A.C.'s wonderful home with family. It's in a great neighborhood, right near the park and in walking distance to a number of local restaurants (on W. 6th St and W. Lynn). Thoroughly enjoyed it and A.C. was very accommodating in making the house available to us. Thanks!
A.C. was very informative about where to find different places to eat and hang out. Check-in was later than advertised, but seamless none the less. While her home was quiet and comfortable it was very dusty. I was having very bad allergies while in the home. There is only one TV, located in the master bed room without cable. So if you can survive on the internet her wi-fi is going to be your best bet. I would recommend this option if you are in Austin and plan to be out most of the day.
Hi, I actually have listed that my dog, Daisy, lives here when there are no guests. The house was certainly cleaned and we did not see any remaining dust or hair. Typically my guests are not big tv-watchers, and they want to be out exploring the city, especially if coming for an event or festival. Also, all of my past guests have loved the art/design books I have out for enjoying. They have not found it cluttered. My listing/photos are quite accurate, so I am confused as to why you chose my house, as it did not seem to be a good match. The location is unbeatable, especially for your time at ACL, where it's literally only about 1.25 mile walk to the festival.
