An Oasis. A place of exceptional nature 360 degrees. Water, birds, palm trees, and friendly local people in the neighborhood. A place to really feel whats gone missing in our city lives lately. ENJOY.
The Guesthouse is an independed house which is rented exclusively.

The space
The guest house is situated on a remote family owned estate close to a tiny village in Sierra Alhamilla, overlooking the bay of Almeria. This village is famous for its thermal spring waters rising with 58°C which are open all year with a bathhouse.
This makes a stay in winter especially nice!
Surrounded by mountains and the desert, this oasis with hundreds of palm trees, offers fantastic hiking, biking, free climbing and paragliding possibilities and counts on about 300 days of sun as well as starry night skies... Or invites you to just be lazy all day long around the unfenced property, inspired by nature.

After all the calm of the place is exceptional.

The charme of the guesthouse lies in its simple style filled with personal elements, the swimming pool and the magnificent view on to the mediterranean sea, of which the beaches can be reached in 35-45 minutes (Cabo da Gata). Several terrasses offer shade and sun acording to seasons. The living is rather outdoors and the indoors is cosy with a fireplace and stove for the winter evenings.
The average temperature in winter is around 15-20 degrees. The ocaisonal rain is not comparable with the one we know from northern countries.

We have two bars/restaurants open all year in our village with good homemade spanish cooking, family owned. (Only open daytime 9-5)
All shops are down the hill at 6 km with a small everyday marketplace.

We do NOT have any public transport reaching our paradise. Infact it comes down to a very simple countrylane for the last 500m. Therefore a rental car is needed. Otherwise I can offer transport from Almeria bus/train station or airport.

Please do not hesitate to ask for special prices off season and longterm stays. In the month of June, July, August and September its by minimum stay of 7 nights.

The pool ist there for the guests all day. No limits.
As your only neighbour and caretaker, I sometimes have friends staying with me, but since you are my paying guests, you will be first to enjoy the place at maximum.
