The Space

A small open space studio located in a really quite road on a hill. It's 600 meters far from S.Peter's square and at walking distance by some of the main historical/cultural attractions of Rome.
Many buses are also available to reach these and other locations. A close and not noisy train station will allow you to go to all the main train stations in Rome and to Viterbo and Bracciano Lake. Trains are frequent and cheap and also make you reach easily the apartment coming from Fiumicino airport.
Modern/New furnitures, comforts (fast wi-fi and fiber optics internet connection, TV, hair dryer). One room with king size bed, 1 bathroom with shower, a well equipped small kitchen with coffee, tea, oil and mineral water, 1 balcony. Bed linen and towels are included. The house is located on the first floor with lift. There is a really kind keeper in the building. The area where is the apartment is Via Gregorio VII-Stazione San Pietro district, quiet well served with shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc. People loving Italian food can reach Eataly with few local train stops. Here is possible to buy and eat all the best Italian Slow Food. English and Spanish spoken.

The Neighborhood

San Peter's is 600 meters away, three minutes walk away. Down the hill, turn right on Gregorio VII Street, and you will find the square on your left.
In Monte del Gallo street, the first road on the left, down the hill, you will find the bus number 34 which takes you to Crescenzio Street (Prati district). On the way you will find a shop selling fruit and vegetables, a Carrefour Express supermarket, a butcher, a laundry.
In Angelo Renucci Street (from Via Monte del Gallo, first on the right), you can find a pizza restaurant, a bank, a deli, a laundry, a Euro Spin and Todis supermarket.
In Piazzale Gregorio VII (just cross the main street, close to the railway bridge ) there is a self service laundry. In Via Aurelia Antica, there are a Chinese and a Indian restaurant and a bakery.
In Gregorio VII Street, you can find restaurants, banks, gas stations, other shops

Getting Around

In Gregorio VII Street there are several bus stops:
-n.571 takes you to the Colosseum and San Giovanni (from where you can take the subway),
-n.916 brings you the Ara Coeli and Venezia Square
-n.982 takes you to Ottaviano metro terminal
-n.15 N (night) takes you to Termini station
-n.20N (night) takes you to Venezia Square

From San Pietro Station there are many trains taking you to Ostiense, Tiburtina and Termini Stations (direction Rome) and Bracciano and Viterbo (out of Rome direction). On the station side, you can find other shops and the bus n.64 terminal. This bus takes you to Vittorio Emanuele Avenue (Navona Square), Largo Argentina, Venezia Square, Nazionale Street and Termini Station.
From Ostiense Terminal you can go to Eataly where is possible to eat and buy excellent italian Slow Food.
From Ostiense and Tiburtina Stations you can take the ITALO high-speed trains to Florence, Bologna, Milan and Venice; from Termini Station all the Trenitalia fast and regular trains connecting you to all the main cities in Italy.

Other Things to Note

How to reach the place from the airport?

From Fiumicino airport you have to take the train to Roma Trastevere ( direction Fara Sabina, Orte ecc; 8,00 € ). Do not take the Termini station train. When you'll arrive to Trastevere get out of the train and go to the track number 6, where usually the local train to Bracciano and Viterbo stops (take this direction and not Ostiense). After few stops you'll be at San Pietro Station. Get out and take the underground walk way going up to the other side of the station where there are several buildings (it's the opposite side of the main entry of the station). You'll be in Lago Terrione Street. Go up to the end of the parking area (not down of the hill) and you'll reach the n.83.

From Ciampino: I suggest you to take a bus to Termini station (you have many companies; Terravision is about 4-5 euros) and from Termini take the bus n.64 (terminal to terminal). This bus is also useful to reach many attractions in the centre of Rome, leaving from my flat.
