Our low-rise apartment building is nestled in the West End close to English Bay and Stanley Park. On a quiet street that is only steps away from wonderful restaurants, beach sunsets, and the bustle of downtown living. Your retreat after a busy day!
Our apartment is in the heart of English Bay at Denman and Pendrell. Tucked in on a quiet tree lined street for a warm and inviting quiet home away from home.
This is a low rise character building and our suite is on the second floor, sorry no elevator.
The 700 sqf. apartment is very quiet on the back side of the building overlooking a serene green space and the morning sun to greet you. Original hardwood floors throughout, recently renovated with a warm Tuscan feel.
A full working kitchen with granite counter tops, equipped for all your cooking and entertaining needs. Dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, Jen-air grill cook top, coffee machine, blender the works! There are numerous local markets and a larger chain grocery store all within a short block of our front door to get your supplies.
There are spices and condiments to use and toiletries and washing and cleaning supplies available for your use.
A good night's sleep awaits in the spacious master bedrooms King Memory foam bed and luxurious linens to slip into at the end of your day to accommodate 2 people very comfortably. Please note; this is a SOFT bed, not firm.
The Lux marble tiled bathroom has a heated floor. Includes a deep soak bath and 3 shower heads including rain shower. Complete with large oversized towels.
Includes all the electronics one would need;
Large Flat screen TV’s in the living room and bedroom, Cable TV, Sony DVD internet player, Netflix, internet and surround sound. Just plug in your iPod or mp3 player.
There is a computer wardrobe desk equipped with your all your office needs including printer if you have work to do or need to stay connected.
In-suite washer and dryer.
Free secure underground parking and visitor parking in the back. Public transportation is at your doorstep and taxi's aplenty. Though most anything you may need is within a 1 block walk.
Your welcome to entertain but no loud or late parties and please respect the other residents as this is a mature only building.
STRICT - No smoking, no drugs. No balcony for smoking. NO SMOKING IN BUILDING OR PARKADE.
Step out of the building: feel and hear the heartbeat of the West End all around you. Smell the flavours of the world wafting on the breeze. Tempting your palate from 5 star dining to street vendors sizzling on their open grills. Or shop at the many local and national market stores for your ingredients; All within minutes of your doorstep.
Turn the corner and you are on the magnificent and renowned English Bay Beach with its breathtaking views of the entrance to Vancouver Harbour and sunsets that people wait for in anticipation.
From there you can follow the path and walk or bike to the seawall. To your right the Crown Jewel of Vancouver, Stanley Park. To your left False Creek with Harbour ferry taxi service to the famous Granville Island. Shopping, Dining, and the Arts! There is a gym with a swimming pool in a nearby Aquatic center (10 minutes' walk away).
Hop on the bus that goes by every 5 minutes and head uptown to more shopping, dining and attractions to delight. Or connect with Sky Train (Metro Town and beyond) and the Canada Line ( to YVR River Rock Casino & Entertainment Theatre) to take you were you need to go. Robson Street's shopping Quirky and Unique to Louis Vuitton!
You are only minutes away from BC Place ( BC Lions, White Caps MLS), GM Place (Canucks), QE Theater, VSO and Vancouver Art Gallery. Sports, Concerts, Arts and Theater for your entertainment pleasure, we are season ticket holders for BC Lions and the Whitecaps and tickets can be arranged for you.
NO CAR, but still want to drive? There is a Zipcar location within a few minutes’ walk.
There is a basic cleaning fee, but please treat this as you would your home and leave it tidy or there will be additional cleaning fees deducted from your safety deposit.
I love this neighbourhood! We are so close to a beautiful public beach with many different ethnic restaurants in the area to please the palate. And while we are very close to the downtown business core, we are a true residential community. It is lovely to walk the tree lined streets of the westend and greet other people walking their dogs or taking their kids to school. There are libraries, schools, community centers and pools all within a few blocks of our home.
Very easy to get around from here. Taxis abound, a major bus route within steps of the front door. Underground secure parking is included and will accommodate a small or med size vehicle. Or walk we are so close to most any amenity you may need.
We are on the second floor with no elevator.
THE BUILDING IS STRICTLY NO SMOKING THIS INCLUDES THE GARAGE. BC Laws state you must be 30 feet or 10 m from the doorway. There is no balcony and you can not smoke out of the windows. I have asthma and it will effect me. If you or your guests do smoke in the apartment you will lose your deposit.
This a primarily mature quiet building and expect our guest to respect that. No loud or late parties please.
We also ask that laundry is not done after 8 pm so as not to disturb the other residents. Your compliance is appreciated.
From Jul 24 - 27, 2015 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Tracy is the best host - she is super accommodating, lightning fast responses and even gave us a ton of free tips and spent time on the phone with me to help plan a side trip to Vancouver Island. She upgraded our internet the same day and overall was a pleasure to work with. The apartment is in a perfect location, just a couple minute's walk to the best places in the city: English Bay, Stanley Park and Coal Harbour. A plethora of restaurants are just seconds away. There's a Whole Foods and literally hundreds of restaurants within walking distance. The building is a bit old but but the apartment itself is comfortable, homey and quiet. The space is fully equipped and everything worked great. There are a lot of brochures and travel info in the kitchen. I liked having all the windows but some were broken and slated to be replaced. My boyfriend and I definitely enjoyed our 2-week stay.

We rent the apartment to visit my parents, who were fascinated by the place . The apartment is very comfortable , has everything, this excellently located . It is a quiet building . It was like being at home , much better than a hotel. They were two weeks great. Tracy and Rob very friendly , always concerned that we were right. Great apartment .

Tracy's place in Vancouver was great. It's in the West End on a quiet street but two minutes to the action with lots of restaurants, groceries, bars and various shops. The apartment was well equipped and had a very nice large warm comfortable bed. The floors were a little squeaky but that simply added to the charm of the apartment.
The communication with Tracy and her helper was great. We had no problems getting the key and was also given a 1st class introduction to the area by Sasha.
Tracy left ample free space for our clothes and refrigerator items and made the place feel like a boutique hotel. Tracy also prepared a details binder of tons of information specific to the area which was really helpful!
The parking spot in the secured garage was a must have for those with a car!
We would definitely recommend staying here. We regret that we forgot to leave a note in her binder... hopefully we can do that next time!

I booked Tracy's apartment for my mum and she really enjoyed her stay in Vancouver. Good communication with Tracy with quick answers. The apartment was super clean, nice and quiet. The bed is huge and high. If you're used to memory foam mattress you will like it. I would recommend Tracy's apartment without a doubt.
Tracy's apartment is in a great neighborhood. It's quiet but just minutes from the Davie, Denman, and Robson Street corridors which have very good and reasonably priced restaurants. It's right on the bus lines so public transportation is very easy from this location. Tracy's apartment is very nice, her descriptions accurate, and a well-detailed "house manual." We especially appreciated all the travel brochures and info she provides in the large basket in the kitchen/dining area.
Extremely comfortable and well-located apartment. With free parking as an added bonus! Tracy was also very good about checking in to see that I had everything I needed and to answer any questions.
There may be more glamorous high-rises with views but Tracy has turned her modest low-rise apartment into a full-service condo/hotel -- great full-service kitchen and bathroom and huge comfy bed. And with English Bay, Stanley Park, and shops and restaurants right outside the door, you will be totally set up to explore Vancouver.
The property was as described. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is fully stocked with everything you need. Great area of the city located downtown with the luxury of being in a quiet area. Close to groceries, restaurants, and the water. It felt like a home away from home.
Tracy was a very attentive host. We did have an issue with noise from an ongoing disturbance but Tracy worked quickly and efficiently to resolve the matter.
