This quiet & comfortable 1 bdm apartment overlooks a green space from the 2nd floor. Only a block from the beach with many retail and dining amenities at your doorstep. Centrally located for easy access to major attractions and entertainment venues.

The Space

Our apartment is in the heart of English Bay at Denman and Pendrell. Tucked in on a quiet tree lined street for a warm and inviting quiet home away from home.

This is a low rise character building and our suite is on the second floor, sorry no elevator.

The 700 sqf. apartment is very quiet on the back side of the building facing a serene green space with the morning sun to greet you. Original hardwood floors throughout, recently renovated with a warm Tuscan feel.

A full working kitchen with granite counter tops, equipped for all your cooking and entertaining needs. Dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, Jen-air grill cook top, coffee machine, blender the works! There are numerous local markets and a larger chain grocery store all within a short block of our front door to get your supplies.

There are spices and condiments to use and toiletries and washing and cleaning supplies available for your use.

A good night's sleep awaits in the spacious master bedrooms King Memory foam bed and luxurious linens to slip into at the end of your day to accommodate 2 people very comfortably.

With a Queen Hide-abed couch in living room, it will accommodate an additional 2 guests or family members if needed.

The Lux marble tiled bathroom has a heated floor. Includes a deep soak bath and 3 shower heads including rain shower. Complete with large oversized towels.

Includes all the electronics one would need;
Large Flat screen TV’s in the living room and bedroom, Satellite TV, Sony DVD internet player, internet and surround sound. Just plug in your iPod or mp3 player.

There is a computer wardrobe desk equipped with your all your office needs including printer if you have work to do or need to stay connected.

In-suite washer and dryer.

Free secure underground parking and visitor parking in the back. Public transportation is at your doorstep and taxi's aplenty. Though most anything you may need is within a 1 block walk.

Your welcome to entertain but no loud or late parties and please respect the other residents as this is a mature only building.

STRICT - No smoking, no drugs. No balcony for smoking. NO SMOKING IN BUILDING OR PARKADE.

Step out of the building: feel and hear the heartbeat of the West End all around you. Smell the flavours of the world wafting on the breeze. Tempting your palate from 5 star dining to street vendors sizzling on their open grills. Or shop at the many local and national market stores for your ingredients; All within minutes of your doorstep.

Turn the corner and you are on the magnificent and renowned English Bay Beach with its breathtaking views of the entrance to Vancouver Harbour and sunsets that people wait for in anticipation.

From there you can follow the path and walk or bike to the seawall. To your right the Crown Jewel of Vancouver, Stanley Park. To your left False Creek with Harbour ferry taxi service to the famous Granville Island. Shopping, Dining, and the Arts! There is a gym with a swimming pool in a nearby Aquatic center (10 minutes' walk away).

Hop on the bus that goes by every 5 minutes and head uptown to more shopping, dining and attractions to delight. Or connect with Sky Train (Metro Town and beyond) and the Canada Line ( to YVR River Rock Casino & Entertainment Theatre) to take you were you need to go. Robson Street's shopping Quirky and Unique to Louis Vuitton!

You are only minutes away from BC Place ( BC Lions, White Caps MLS), GM Place (Canucks), QE Theater, VSO and Vancouver Art Gallery. Sports, Concerts, Arts and Theater for your entertainment pleasure, we are season ticket holders for BC Lions and the Whitecaps and tickets can be arranged for you.

NO CAR, but still want to drive? There is a Zipcar location within a few minutes’ walk.

There is a basic cleaning fee, but please treat this as you would your home and leave it tidy or there will be additional cleaning fees deducted from your safety deposit.

The Neighborhood

I love this neighbourhood! We are so close to a beautiful public beach with many different ethnic restaurants in the area to please the palate. And while we are very close to the downtown business core, we are a true residential community. It is lovely to walk the tree lined streets of the westend and greet other people walking their dogs or taking their kids to school. There are libraries, schools, community centers and pools all within a few blocks of our home.

  • We had a great stay here. It was easy to settle in and feel at home, with everything we needed at hand. We appreciated all the thought that went into providing for our comfort. The only slight downside was the memory foam mattress was a tad soft for us - but probably not for the average back. It was our first experience of memoryfoam and now we know it's not for us.

    Thank you for your kind comments. As to the memory foam mattress. No I suppose it may not be for everyone. Though the majority of my guests tell me they love the bed! I do indicate in my write up that it is a King memory foam mattress.

  • We had the loveliest time at this apartment. It is clean , comfortable and feels very safe and welcoming. It was our first experience of airbnb, and Tracy's attentiveness was most reassuring. The kitchen is really well equipped and every electronic convenience is also provided. The whole apartment is really cosy, and the bed is super comfortable. Best of all though is the location. Everything on the description is accurate, and we went in and out of town several times a day when it suited us. We also made the most of the local neighbourhood, with it's proximity to the beach and Stanley Park.We would definitely like to stay here again if we are lucky enough to get a second shot at this great city.Thanks Tracy!

  • I have traveled to Vancouver many times the past few years and usually rent Condos while I am there . This is by far the best place I have stayed . Tracey was a true pleasure to deal with and so helpful with everything related to my trip. She really wants her guests to have a great experience .The APT is very clean and well appointed with a King size bed and two great flat screen TVs. It was great to have access to parking. Also the location is ideal in the West -End and walk-able to many of Vancouver attractions. I am looking forward to staying there again! Great place and host!

  • Tracy's apartment was warm and cozy, offering all the facilities for cooking if desired. It was also very quiet , despite being so close to the popular Denman street and it's many restaurants. Everything was from walking distance, shops , restaurants,Stanley Park, English Bay and the downtown area. Tracy was quick to answer any queries , and we would get a prompt reply .
    It was a good experience to stay at Tracy whilst discovering Vancouver and it's surroundings. The apartment felt very safe, having a locked up garage and a security entrance.
    . I would recommend Tracy's apartment to those who wish to have a comfortable homely environment in a central area of Vancouver.

  • Our stay at Tracy's apartment was perfect. We were able to walk wherever we wanted and the sunset from the Cactus club on the English Bay beach was the highlight after a number of dull weather days. This beach is only a few mins walk from the apartment. We also cooked a lovely curry meal for some friends and were able to use the many spices letT in the cupboard. Tracy kept in touch the whole time was able to answer all our questions. We also had a lovely welcome from Jessica who met us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. We can fully recommend the apartment as being comfortable, convenient and close to all that Vancouver has to offer.

  • We spent three days in Vancouver during (American) Thanksgiving. Tracy's place was in the perfect location to explore the city: being minutes of walking distance to Robson Street, the many amazing (Asian-infused) restaurants downtown, Stanley Park, and the inuksuk at English Bay (think the Olympic logo). We drove up from Seattle, but left the car behind and explore much of the city by foot.

    Aside from the fabulous location: Tracy was responsive and clear in her communication with us both before and during our stay. The kitchen is better equipped than our own. Small details like the heated bathroom tiles were wonderful on a chilly fall night. Tracy also prepared a comprehensive guide to the city, but you really only need to step out and you're in it!

  • Location, Location, Location, Loved it! Would definitely rent again if available. Being an Innkeeper myself, I was amazed at the detail that Tracy had for her guests. There was a complete easy to read and understand book that covered off just about everything.

    Bed was amazingly comfortable, but what appealed to me the most was even though you are in a big city, it was so quiet.

    Tracy was very attentive despite being absent. Her daughter was there to greet and both were an email or phone call away.

    The apt has everything you can imagine in the way of conveniences. Location has access to great low cost restaurants which is great for me. But if you want to cook... Apt has it all.

  • Cannot say enough about the welcome and comfort we experienced. So enjoyable after lots of travelling and ferry delays. We were able to relax completely. Apt was fully equipped and was very convenient for shops, restaurants and tourist attractions, car parking very useful, although a really big car might have to be left outside. Heated floor in bathroom a real touch of luxury.
    All in all an excellent place to stay.

  • We really enjoyed staying at Tracy's unit . It felt like home . Her daughter met us and settled us into the unit . The unit was in a wonderful location and had lots of extras that gave it a homey feel . I would recommend the unit and Tracy as a host .

  • Tracy's apartment is fantastic! Perfect location for a weekend, week, or month (!) stay exploring the Vancouver area. Countless local restaurants within a safe 5-10 min walk along Denman St. Convenience store, pharmacy, and grocery store within a couple blocks for anything you need. Best of all is the bay and Stanley Park within a couple blocks. You can explore the park on foot or rent a bike on Denman St. We had a car for exploring other parts of the city so the parking was key for us. The huge king bed was much better than ours at home!! We slept great!
