Casa De Velas (House of Sails) is a three bedroom villa located on the Riviera Maya. This villa is one of six that make up the Villas of Sian-Ka'an in Playacar Phase II, the exclusive gated resort community of Playa del Carmen. The six villas share a very large pool and palapa area with bathroom that is perfect for parties. Enjoy sitting on the villa's terrace overlooking the 15th tee of the Robert Von Hagge designed golf
course, widely recognized as one of the top golf courses in the world. This 7202 yard, par 72 layout is as beautiful to look at as it is exciting to play.
Amid a tropical Caribbean climate, spectacular natural beauty and Mayan culture, Casa De Velas inspires relaxation, tranquility, and a feast for the senses. The large living room has seating for 8 and a built-in entertainment center with satellite tv and a home theater system for enjoying your favorite DVD's, CD's, or VCR tapes. There is also free wireless internet. The fully equipped kitchen awaits the amateur chef or ask us about hiring a cook for your stay. Enjoy your meals at the kitchen dining table, counter bar stools, or at the terrace table overlooking the pool. The three bedrooms all have private bathrooms with shower and the master bath consists of a large tub and separate shower. Each bedroom has its own terrace. The Casa is fully air conditioned with individual room controls.
Rates include 14% IVA tax. $500.00 USD Security Deposit Required. Security deposit will be retained by Airbnb for confirmed reservations and released after checkout and the property is cleaned and a thorough inventory taken. It is understood that damages or lost items will be deducted at replacement cost, which may include but is not limited to labor expense, shipping and importation costs. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the property owner and are not included in this rental. You as the guest agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure that your family and other guests in your party adhere to the rules and regulations affecting the villa. Any extra cleaning of the Casa will be deducted from the security deposit at $50 per hour.
Guests are responsible for the property, its contents, and themselves during occupancy. Guests must lock windows and doors securely when not on the premises, and must observe all cautions, as given in the "Guest Book” or from the property manager. Rearranging the furniture or removing any items from the villa is prohibited. It is further understood that exceeding the maximum occupancy will forfeit the security deposit.

Check in is after 3:00 P.M. and check out is before 11:00 A.M.
Questions, Complaints and Maintenance
The property manager and his staff work hard to ensure that the villa and amenities are in place and in good working order. The manager will be available to handle questions, complaints and supervise maintenance. In case of a maintenance problem, the property manager will strive to have the problem repaired as soon as possible after being notified. However, no refund or rate adjustment shall be made for unforeseen failures such as the supply of electricity, water, pool filtration systems, air conditioning, telephone, television or satellite service, appliances, etc. It is guest's obligation to report any problems or damage immediately to the house manager.
Electronic Safes and Keys
There is a $75 charge for lost property keys.
Please do not reprogram the satellite TV system or disconnect wiring to TV, VCR or stereo. If you do and then we have to have it reprogrammed, there will be a $50 charge.
The renter named in this agreement must be over 25 years old and will be responsible for themselves and all guests whether they are registered in the villa or not. The renter acknowledges that the property owners, employees, and agents do not carry personal liability insurance and can not be held responsible regardless of fault, for any accident, loss, damage or injury suffered by the renter, members of their party or any other guests which the renter or their party have allowed access to the property, regardless if said loss is a result directly or indirectly from acts of god, danger incident to the sea, any body of water, fire, breakdown of machinery, equipment, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars (whether declared or not), hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, custom regulations, delays or cancellations of or changes in itineraries or schedule or from acts of omission of any airline. Furthermore, the renter will release and hold harmless any and all parties involved with the rental, management and reservations of the property and to release and hold harmless it's owners or representatives for any loss or damage to personal property or for any injury and/or death.
Smoking is not allowed inside the property. Smoking is allowed only outside.
