This cosy, comfortable 'get away from it all' cabin sits in wild insolation of glorious Donegal with uninterrupted panoramic hill views. We are an eco cabin, striving to have a light footprint, to take responsibility for conserving resources, with a dry toilet and wood / turf burning stoves providing heat, hot water and cooking ( we also have an electric kettle/ toaster and 2 ring hob).
PLEASE NOTE AT PRESENT WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING BOOKINGS FROM GUESTS RESIDENT IN IRELAND OR NORTHERN IRELAND

The space
This beautiful wooden home is set in the stunning landscape of the remote hills of Donegal, ideal for detaching from busy hectic every day life and reconnecting and recharging in peace and tranquility. It sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 double super comfy beds, in three rooms, extra single bed and travel cot available on request. This is an eco cabin and has one large shower and one dry toilet. Large double doors lead from the living room onto round wooden decking and BBQ area overlooking views of Loch an Uir lake and surrounding wild bogland, as well as sunsets and starry night skies. The cooking, heating and hot water is provided by a range using wood and locally cut turf, all available to guests, I am on site and always happy to help with lighting the range or keeping it in if you're out for the day. (please note there is also an electric kettle/ toaster and 2 ring hob available as well as a large BBQ outside) There is also a small stove in the large bedroom. There is a TV in the front room as well as a music system with a large collection of music available on the Ipod also a big selection of books and games for guests to use.

Guest access
Guests have access to the house and gardens. The farm fields are protected by electric fencing part of the year for horses. There is access through this down to a large river at the bottom of the property. Guests have access over the property at their own risk and need to be aware that this is a working farm and be respectful of this.

Other things to note
Please download directions before travelling to Crolly as there is little internet coverage in the area. However the eircode F92 K763 should bring you straight to the door on sat nav or google maps. Make a note of my mobile number in case you get lost!
