Modern furnished one bedroom apartment enjoying two terraces overlooking country views as well as the Marsascala Harbour.
The layout consists of a bedroom, kitchen/living area and a shower ensuite. A sofa bed situated in the living area accommodates extra sleeping capacity. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen and is ideal for a couple who wish to spend a holiday in Malta in a tranquil yet modern surroundings.
The apartment is situated on the top floor in a quiet residential area very close to Marsascala Centre and is within each of all tourist attractions; shops, restaurants, cafes etc.
There are direct buses to Marsascala from Malta International AIrport, Marsaxlokk and the three cities Victoriosa, Cospicua, Senglea and Valletta.
Our apartments are licenced from the Malta Tourisim Autority this give our costemers an extra peace of mind that the apartments are of a certian level.
1) Responsibilities of the Tenant
The Owner shall be allowed access to the Apartment at any reasonable time during the entire stay. The Tenant is responsible for the Apartment and is also expected to take all reasonable care of it. All equipment and utensils, etc must be left clean and tidy at the end of the holiday.
Upon arrival, a deposit of €200 is to be paid by the Tenant, such deposit is to be refunded by the Owner at the termination of the stay, provided that the Apartment, after having been inspected by the Owner, is found to be in the same condition as it was prior to occupancy.
If any breakages or damages should occur to the Apartment and/or its contents during the Tenant`s stay, the latter must proceed to immediately notify the Owner. Kindly note that the Tenant is liable for the loss of any equipment and/or other items found missing by the Owner from the Apartment for the duration of the Tenant`s stay and immediately following the latter`s departure.
The Owner reserves the right to terminate the tenancy of property if conduct of the Tenant and other members is detrimental to other residents nearby. In these circumstances, no money would be refunded including any deposit so made. Please also note that the Owner is not responsible for any potential noise or disturbance going on in the nearby area.
No private parties are allowed in the Apartment during the Tenant`s stay.
The Apartment is air-conditioned. In this regard, all doors and windows are to be kept closed while the air-conditioning system is being activated.
The Owner regrets that pets are not permitted in the Apartment.
3) Party Size
The total number of people occupying the Apartment shall at no time exceed the number stated upon booking. In circumstances when the Tenant abuses this requirement, he may be requested to reimburse the Owner an extra fee or otherwise vacate the Apartment immediately.
No responsibility will be accepted by the Owner for any accident or loss, damage to personal effects, baggage, car or any other item belonging to the Tenant or any member of his party whether arising from the negligence of the Owner or otherwise.
In the event that the Tenant is not satisfied with the condition of the Apartment throughout his stay, he should immediately proceed to contact the Owner on (phone number hidden) or (phone number hidden). Failure to inform the Owner will result in the loss or reduction of any rights the Tenant may have had in connection with making a complaint.
From initially making the booking, George was the perfect friendly and polite host. Picking us up from the Gozo ferry and driving us back to the apartment was so helpful. Once at the apartment George showed us everything and provided helpful info regarding the area. The apartment is fabulous; spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, incl a washing machine even (if that's what you really choose to do on your hols !) and good Air-Con which isn't silly expensive to run and is essential. The 2 terraces/balconies either side are great and plenty of room on the rear one to lounge out and Bar-B-Q, which George has kindly provided for guests use. It can get windy up there but what a view!
The front balcony is is ideal to sit out for breakfast, using the kitchen chairs.
Lounge, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are all faultless and provide a relaxing environment to stay as a base for this end of the island.
George had a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge on arrival as a welcome and on our departure day, following a very swift and no-fuss handover, George drove us to the airport.
We didn't hire a car so had to endure walking up "The Hill" to the apartment, but for the quality of accommodation and Georges good nature, this is well worth it.
If visited this part of Malta again, would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to friends.

We had a wonderful experience staying in George's apartment! The views from both balconies are spectacular, and the place itself came well-equipped with starter provisions (water, snacks) and is in a great neighborhood. George was an excellent host and very quick to respond to questions. He also helped us arrange a local car rental which worked out perfectly (not to mention the free and convenient airport transfer!). Would definitely stay there again in the future!
Me and my husband spent a wonderful week in Marsaskala. When we arrived to Malta George picked us up at the airport and took us to the apartment. His friendly attitude and warm hospitality gave our holiday a great start. The flat is excellently equipped, has an amazing view to the port and the countryside. It is only a few minutes walk from the bus stops, shops and restaurants. Our stay was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place.
We have just returned from beautiful Malta where we spent a wonderful 4-day mini-vacation. Although we were a little weary about the accommodation, we are happy we chose an apartment instead of a hotel, as it proved much more efficient and budget friendly. George's apartment turned out to be the perfect place! Even though it's quite small, it can easily fit 2 to 4 persons; it is well equipped with everything you might need to make your vacation go smoothly (we even had a washing machine, a hair drier and iron! ). And, in all honesty, it looks much better than in the pictures!
The best thing about it, however, is that it is off the beaten tourist path, which gives you a feeling of real Malta. It was great walking on the promenade, having dinner at restaurants by the bay (all within a 5 minute walk from the apartment) and mingle with the locals in a laid back relaxing atmosphere. Quite the opposite of jostling and bustling Sliema or St. Julian... Also, the apartment is a 3 minute walk to the 124 bus station (taking you to Birgu / Vittoriosa) and a 5 minute walk to/from the Marsaskala Bus Terminal where you have buses for several destinations, including Valletta (bus 91, 92, 93). It takes you about 30 - 35 minutes to get to Valletta, a little longer than we hoped, but manageable. It is also close to several mini-markets.
Nevertheless, the "piece de resistence" remains the two front and back terraces. The one by the living room offers unobstructed views of the Marsaskala Bay and the open sea in the distance (I so enjoyed having my cup of coffee here watching the sun rise early in the morning!), whereas the one in the front opens to the country side which is picturesque in its own unique way. So, we sort of had 2-in-1! :)
As for George, he was a great host! He came and picked us up from the airport and also gave us a ride back on departure (all free of charge, unlike some hotels we had checked...) He had the apartment ready and even supplied it with juice, water and coffee to last for the first day and provided a whole bunch of booklets and leaflets with maps, tips and info about Malta. Thank you, George, for everything!
All in all, we had a great stay in Marsaskala. If we make it to Malta again, we hope George's apartment is available, as this will be our first choice!

My name is George and I live in Zurrieq Malta with my wife Cynthia & our child Michela. We bought Ta' Kurun property in October 2006 after we spending 5 years renting Ta' Kurun we bought Ta' Rosi property next door to Ta' Kurun. George and Cynthia Debono are the founders of GCM Holidays. We collect our customers from the airport and take them to the apartment situated in Bella Vista, Marsascala. On the way to the apartment, George and Cynthia show their customers the facilities which are available in this locality such as restaurants, shops, the bus terminus, etc. We furnished these apartments with to the highest standards.The area of Bella Vista in Marsascala is very quiet although it is not too far from the center. This location is minutes away from the capital city Valletta, Victoriosa, Cospicua,Senglea and Marsaxlokk. There is direct bus service to these locations while other locations can be reached by changing buses at the airport or at Valletta.
