Interaction with Guests
I am available to my guests throughout their stay via phone/e-mail. I come by the main home on the property on a daily basis so I am always around and available to answer any questions that arise.
Our neighborhood is one of the many older neighborhoods in the city. It's really close to downtown, which is very convenient and one of the biggest draws of this home. The downtown area has many great coffee shops, wine bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. There's also a park only a block away with an outdoor fitness center, basketball court, playground, and community garden.
It's also conveniently located near the 101 North & South freeway on ramps, which is nice for getting around quickly.
It is also very close to the trail head of Cerro San Luis (commonly known as Madonna Mountain).
Street parking is free and always available.
There is a bus stop a block away from the home. The main bus transit center is about a 15-20 minute walk downtown.
Bikes are available for rent (2 beach cruisers) but they're subject to availability. There are also a couple other bike rental places within close proximity as well if you wanted a mountain bike or other kind.

Once again we had a fabulous stay at this super cute studio. This time we stayed at top apartment with a balcony. We loved this just as much as the downstairs apartment. Carrie left fresh chocolate chip cookies to welcome us. Our daughter lives in SLO so we will be back again and again at what we like to think of as our SLO home away from home!
Had a great stay for 1 night in San Luis Obispo thanks to Carrie. She left very detailed suggestions for activities/hikes/restaurants. The room was cozy and cute, and Carrie was responsive to our questions and meticulous in her planning of our stay. I would definitely recommend staying with her to anyone visiting the area.
This place was absolutely wonderful. Carrie’s chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived was a pleasant surprise. Just so happens that those are my favorite. The place was clean, quite and it felt like we had our own little place. We really appreciated the white folder with information on what to do in the area, including hikes, restaurants and places to see. We enjoyed everything about the place. This was my first experience with Airbnb and hope the next one will be just as nice.
Carrie was a wonderful host. Quick responses and made us feel welcomed from the get go. Really if you are looking for a cozy, beautifully appointed little apartment, look no further. From the sounds of the fountains outside and the lace light streaming through the moorish wood frames we felt transported into another world. Carrie was even kind enough to let us stay a little longer so we could sleep in from having arrived so late the night before. Thank you, Carrie. Can't wait to come back and stay longer.
We had a fabulous stay at Carrie's studio! Checking into the unit was a breeze and we were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a ridiculously helpful manual that told us everything we needed to know from winery and restaurant recommendations to how to work the fireplace and DVD player.
We found the unit to be better in person than described. It was clean, well-stocked and impeccably decorated. Parking was easy and the courtyard leading to the studio was charming and private. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were soft. Although the living area and kitchen were cozy, the large walk-in closet and porch give the space a bigger feel.
We took advantage of the suggestions in Carrie's book to walk to an excellent restaurant nearby for dinner and finished the evening relaxing by the fireplace. The next morning was spent sipping coffee on the fabulous porch. Overall a wonderful visit.
Great spot in SLO close to everything in town. Very cute and cozy and exactly as pictured. Carrie also provided a few breakfast options (and cookies!), which was nice. Would stay again.
Carrie's place was just as described. Well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The patio looked amazing but it was a little chilly so we didn't use it. Nice view, and good location -- My wife and I walked about 10 minutes to one of the bar/restaurants that was recommended in the helpful binder that Carrie provides.

I grew up in San Luis Obispo, California. I love the Central Coast and everything it has to offer.
I love the outdoors and exploring the coast with my little dog Callie.
