Built in 1857, our beautiful apartment is located in the heart of Uptown Waterloo, at the intersection of King and Erb. There really is no better location in Waterloo. You can find some of the best coffee, restaurants, nightlife, and art, within a few blocks of our door.
The space is bright and warm with many windows and raised ceilings. Original hardwood throughout. You really need to see it to understand the feel. Pictures don't do it justice.
The apartment has one bedroom (with skylight), an office, a large living room, and open kitchen. The rooftop patio is spacious, and serves as a beautiful garden in warmer months with fresh organic herbs and vegetables, a patio set, and a BBQ. Ensuite laundry.
The bus stops right across the street. The LCBO and two breweries (Brick and Gold Crown) are a couple of short blocks away.
The apartment is three blocks from the best coffee/whiskey bar in the city (DVLB), the famous Huether Hotel, the best music venue in the city (Starlite), the library, Waterloo Park and Silver lake, Princess cinemas, nightlife, and many fine restaurants. Less than a block from the Laurel Trail, and the Waterloo public square.
Very peaceful and quiet inside, despite the central location.

Marie and Aaron were the most welcoming, friendly hosts I could expect having arrived in a new country and not knowing anyone in Canada. The house is lovely and very well decorated, in an ideal location right in the middle of downtown Waterloo, close to the shops and mall.
I had a lovely time with Marie and Aaron, felt taken care and at home and would recommend them anytime to my friends.
