Welcome to San Francisco!
If you need off street parking, send us a note and we can help make arrangements at no additional cost for up to 3 cars.
A note on the size of the space:
This home is ideal for 4-5 adults. You can enjoy this home with significant individual space.
6-8 people can still cozily enjoy this space although it might start to feel a bit like summer camp.
In very exceptional cases we will be able to host more than 8 people ( airbeds will be provided ) but this is for only bookings of a short duration and with the total consent of the booker, knowing that the floor space will be greatly reduced.
We are a 5 minute walk from the shuttle buses for (website hidden), (website hidden)and Genentech.
Our home is only three blocks away from the express BART trains at the Glen Park BART station which will get you to downtown/Civic Center in 10 minutes. Another expedient option to downtown is the J Church MUNI line, only a 3 minute walk away. The closest MUNI stop is San Jose Ave & Santa Rosa Ave.
We're within walking distance to the Sunnyside Conservatory and Glen Park Canyon for an idyllic hike in the heart of the city, or you can be to downtown in 10 minutes by BART. The apartment is easy to get to from SFO, simply take BART from the airport directly to the Glen Park BART.
One of the perks of this neighborhood are the wonderfully unique and quirky dining establishments that are the quintessence of San Francisco. You'll find a wonderfully bizarre Indian Pizza place called Zante's (The Best Indian Pizza with Paneer Tikka Masala, anyone?) and more varieties of pupusas than you'll know what to do with at La Santaneca. Just around the corner is an excellent French bistro with delicious food, can't-be-beat glasses of house wines, and a serious digestif menu called Le P’tit Laurent (your first drink is free if you come in wearing a beret). There are several health food, vegetarian/vegan establishments a stone's throw away.
**Special Notes** If you need mobility assistance or don't like dogs this home is probably not best for you as stairs are necessary and I have pets. My friendly, affectionate dogs and I will be staying in the downstairs half of the duplex for at least part of your stay. Though the dogs will not be in your home, it is possible you would see (or occasionally hear) them in the shared front yard.
Your entire top half of the duplex as well as both the front and back yards.
We will give you all the privacy you desire, but we are still close by in case you need anything or would like local tips and advice.
We were on a Roundtrip trough California, and stopped at San Francisco for 2 Days.
Rebekah was working the whole time, so Rob was our Host.
He helped us with some questions about the City and was very friendly at every time!
They live in the Glenpark area, so you can reach all areas of SF by BART wich is just a 5minutes walk from them. Three lovely dogs belong to them!
Rebekah and Rob made everything so easy for our first time using Airbnb! Rebekah was great with keeping in touch as our trip came closer and was happy to help with any questions we had. Rob was there to greet us and they made sure that everything was ready for us when we arrived. The home was clean, comfortable, and made for a very nice stay. The room was exactly what we were looking for in terms of location, because it was such a quick walk over to the Glen Park BART station which took us straight into the heart of the city. We would definitely stay here again!
Rebekah is a wonderful and elegant host. Very helpful and friendly. Very much recommend the house for it is clean and homelike!
I had a great stay here. I loved the dogs -- they were very friendly. Rob was away for the week, so Rebekah was my host. She was a great host. She was extremely hospitable.
It's in a nice, calm, residential neighborhood. There is laundromat and a corner store right down the street. And BART is very close, as advertised. Commuting to SoMa was very easy.
This was our first Airbnb experience and we were in great hands with Rebekah and Rob. The location was perfect for riding the BART into the city. Rebekah and Rob were full of suggestions of places to eat and things to do. They were very accommodating to our in and out schedule. Loved the attention we got from the dog hosts. That was really the icing on the cake.
Love: Rebekah was truly sweet, accommodating and hospitable. We took her suggestions as far as places to see, go eat to, and especially transportation and we've not had a problem navigating around the city. Her canine pack was a delight ! A definite return if back in San Francisco.
Everything worked out well, was comfortable and no problem with parking in the driveway. I didn't actually meet Rebekah, only Rob was about while I was about.
Staying at Rebekah's was really great. We contacted her super short notice and she responded very quickly! She also gave us great advice how to get around the city and helped with the parking situation, it was a great experience and we'd recommend her fully.
Rebekah is a great host and the room is clean and convenient. We were driving a car and Rebekah provided the space in front of her garage for us to park, which saved us a lot of time from searching street parking. Rebekah also offered several SF travel books and were super handy for our trip! We will consider coming back if we visit SF in the future!
Rebekah was extremely accommodating, kind, and interesting--she was a pleasure to chat with and gave me great recommendations on what to do while in the city. Her dogs (at least the two I met!) are super friendly and cute. Finally, her place is great, the parking was free/easy, and I slept like a baby log in her comfy bed.
