Welcome to Hong Kong, a buzzing metropolis by day and a neon galaxy by night. There is so much to do and explore and no better place to do it from than Wanchai.
It is the perfect location for you no mater why you have come to Hong Kong.
Note that the nightly price shown up there doesn't include the one time cleaning fee (I care about cleanliness so I hire a pro) and Airbnb's booking fee. Input your dates and click the 'book it' button to get the total cost of your stay. Ask if you have any questions. :)
My apartment is cozy and well equipped with everything you'll need: soft sheets, fluffy towels, a mini kitchen, bathroom, TV, WiFi, guidebooks, and character. It is ideal for an individual or couple.
Smack in the middle of Hong Kong's shopping and eating centre, our apartment is a fantastic place from which to base yourself during your trip to Hong Kong.
My wife and I had a fun time preparing the apartment for your arrival and we have tried our best to anticipate what you will need during your trip. We are available to help you make the most of your stay!
Did I mention it is in a great location? It's only a:
600 meter walk to the Convention Center
200 meter walk to the MTR (HK's subway system)
600 meter walk to the famous Star Ferry
In the studio bedroom/living room you'll find:
a double bed with a brand new very comfortable mattress (a little smaller than doubles in the West, it is 4' x 6'/180cm x 120cm)
a TV (local channels-- 2 in English-- but hopefully you'll be too busy exploring the neighborhood to use it :)
free WiFi (super fast broadband network)
a quiet air conditioner
In the Kitchenette you'll find:
a Mini fridge
kitchen utensils (no stove)
an electric kettle
coffees, teas, snacks and drinks
beer and wine (my gift to you!)
In the Bathroom you'll find:
a hair dryer
220 volt outlets
a plug adapter for your gadgets (not a voltage converter)
Interaction with Guests
The studio space is private– everything in the pictures is yours and yours alone. :-)
I'm happy to give recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants.
Causeway Bay and Wanchai are the heart of Hong Kong's consumer culture. Every square inch is filled with shopping malls, department stores, boutiques, market stalls, hole in the wall cafés, international restaurants and banquet halls.
Within walking distance of the apartment, you'll find almost every type of cuisine on the planet as well as the HK must try's: dim sum, roast meats, noodles and congee, cha chan teng (a unique fusion of Chinese/Western food), and snacks and desserts.
If shopping is your thing, you'll find the whole range: From bargains and nicknacks at the Jardine's Crescent street market and Spring Garden Lane, to affordable youth fashion boutiques in Island Beverly Centre, to the tech heaven of the Wanchai Computer Centre, to mid-priced and luxury goods in SOGO and Hysan Place, to the up market fashions found in Lee Gardens, Times Square and Fashion Walk.
You are also right next to Happy Valley, where you can enjoy a beer and watch a horse race on most Wednesdays.
It couldn't be easier to get to the apartment from the airport. The A11 bus picks you up at the airport and drops you off just downstairs from the apartment, and gives you great views of the city as you come into town. You can also get to the apartment by Airport Express (high speed train) and taxi.
The apartment is just a 3 minute walk from Wanchai MTR station (our subway system) and is serviced by Hong Kong's classic tramways and many bus lines. The famous Star Ferry is also just a short walk away.

Check in is after 2pm and check out is before 12 noon. I'm happy to accommodate early check in and late check out as long as I don't have guests arriving/departing on the same days.
Have fun, explore the city, eat shop and live life to the fullest.
You are free to use anything in the apartment, please make (email hidden) is an incredibly dense city, please remember the neighbors and don't be too noisy at night.
Absolutely no smoking in the apartment.
Try not to forget anything when you leave.
Alex is very good, give us very detailed introduction. The apt is very good also. Thanks for the milks,my wife love it very much.
It was good place for transportation. I think wanchai is good choice for traveling the HongKong:) And host is kind
Alex was a great host, the studio is just as advertised, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the great directions from the airport the apartment and also the beverages provided. The wifi was a great feature also. I would recommend this for a single taveler like myself to explore Hong Kong.
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The apartment is very centrally located with only a few walking minutes to the next metro station. This is still Hong Kong, so the apartment is in relation very small, but still very clean and cozy. Would definitely come back here again.
Great location, near to MTR and close to the nightlife of Wan Chai (but not too close)
Apartment is very small, fine for one person but two would have to be very friendly or very small :-)
Alex was very helpful
A tiny room but really tidy. Alex gave the instructions very detailedly. The location is quite convinient. It's easy to get to anywhere by bus or by metro. Thanks Alex for the instructions, drinks and answering the message in late night!
위치는 역과 가깝고 안은 리모델링을 한 것 같이 깨끗합니다. 다만 저는 친구와 둘이 사용했는데 둘이 쓰기엔 좀 작습니다. 혼자서는 쓰기에 좋을 것 같아요.

I'm from North Carolina, but I've lived in Hong Kong for 11 years.
I love living in and travelling across Asia. You'll usually see me with camera in hand trying to blend in with the local culture, which is difficult for a tall white guy.
But, whether I'm treking across a desert or window shopping on high streets, I always love to meet other like minded free spirits.
My wife and I have really enjoyed preparing our place to be ready for guests. We hope you enjoy it. Please let me know if there is anything special I can prepare for your trip. :-)
As a host, I'll try my best to point out the colorful local scene, and as a guest, I'll I try to leave nothing but good memories.
