Thanks for your review rating 2*, the worse ever among 235 reviews, very surprising comparing with most of reviews with 5* or 4*. Furthermore, our superhost status reached for 1st July has just been destroyed with your very low rating. While we do not really care about it, as trust from our guests is more important, but maybe it is at your satisfaction to see it and rate wrongly to hosts? What is more surprising is that we wrote in many emails asking you to contact us if any need or issue could occured, but you prefered to stay silence and wrote so in stead of asking us! Usually I don't want to reply with a long text, but your rating drives me to explain.
AC) You complain about no AC but you knew the flat does not have it before you booked, did you? Have you read the flat description before booking? Its description states no AC, but fans. (FYI: have you ever seen a flat (not a hotel) in Switzerland with AC? Me never, even this could be possible. You have relatives in CH, did they have AC at their home? I guest no! At the time the flat was constructing, I requested to install AC but the constructor was against for better air/humidity sealing: Switzerland could be hot about 1 month per year normally, most of time fans are sufficient. Did you book it expecting that all flats in Switzerland has AC?)
A) Your Amenities rating of 2/5 means 40% matched and 60% missing. The description also states which amenities the flat has, did you read it? We provide bedlinen, shampoo, shower gel, towels, ironing, whole set of kitchening, what else would you need for that 60% missing? For sure we can't provide body lotion, indoor pool, nightclub, spa, breakfast buffet or ... like in 5* hotel though (what else a 5* hotel room has? I have not seen further with many years stayed in 5* during my work).
Your statement "Owner had his own product in bathroom as if he had just left for the night" is completely false, are you aware of your saying? Did you find ANY personal material, "own product", even a single clothe or ... or anything apart objects aiming for guests only? The flat has ONLY bedlinen, kitchen and cleaning equipements, TV, Wifi, furnitures, ALL THOSE ARE FOR THE GUESTS. Was it because you find big shampoo flacons instead of mini flacons as in hotel? We provide shampoo/gel in 250ml flacons, and of course we will not renew them everytime as with the case of small flacons in hotel, do you mean we should throw away these flacons even they are 10% used then provide only new shampoo flacons each day? We don't see anything of our personnal things there, those flacons induce you to say that are our personal objects and so you value it as 2?
By the way, even if (in case of) we would let our personnal objects there, you are still misleading the concept of Airbnb: this is a home/room sharing system, meaning the owner could live there and free it for a night or some days. Although we do not live there but in another canton, and while this flat is FULLY DEDICATED TO GUESTS, if some objects will be left there it should not be considered as a problem, no?
You expect to have towels in the bathroom but our solution is to keep them out of dust in the closet (like at home, and this is the idea of Airbnb too, will you at home each day put some towels in the bathroom for your family members?) and then indicate in the guide for the guest where the towels are. That way is our choice due to reason that we have sereral sets/types or towels and not only 1 unique type as in hotel, so we let the guests choosing their prefered ones (some guests prefer using their onw too).
What else the flat is missing or changing from the flat description or amnenities or anything else that makes you rate the flat with Accuracy/Amenities at 2 meaning 40% true and 60% missing or false?
L) Concerning the location, while your location rating is 3 because of trains, are you aware before booking that the flat is just near the train station before you decide and choose this location? It is true that to avoid the noise, you need to close the windows: it has a sealing system and if it is not correclty close, then you might hear the train.
V) While your value rating of 1 which is 20%, do you think you could find a big hotel room, or even among Airbnb offers, in city center (not on a campagne) with such big 100m2 and price? This flat rate is less than 50% of the price you said you are ready to pay to stay in a good hotel, I checked the room at the lake side hotel for the price you mentioned, its room has only 30m2 though. If you don't need flat facilities such as kitchen with more space more rooms and are ready to spend double (or quadruple if with 1 extra room) price, or else, then effectively you are choosing the wrong system, you should stay in hotel, you should not book with Airbnb as you did then.
In overall, your review is for me not quite helping, neither to other guests nor to me as host. We try to provide the best environment for the guests but your review is discouraging, we still do not understand which amenities to provide more, how to be more accurate, nor ... how to change the location? What it is surprising is you have not contacted us even when we wrote several times reminding to contact us at once if something wrong or not at your happiness.
By the end, with my explaination, do you think you have rated Accuracy 2, Amenities 2, Cleanliness 2, Location 3, Value 1, Overall 2 correctly?
