Bright and Sunny -
Apartment available for a week vacation, weekend or just a few nights out of town. The apartment is located in downtown Calumet, above Cross Country Sports and just blocks from Swedetown Recreation Area. Comfortable, clean and historically restored.

Main bedroom contains one queen bed and the smaller bedroom contains one twin bed.

The space
Built in 1903, the 507 Oak apartments have been restored with period light fixtures and other features. They are well within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and multiple art galleries as well as the headquarters of the Keweenaw National Historical Park.

Guest access
The entire apartment is yours to enjoy for your stay.
Key pick up is arranged based on your arrival time. We are in the shop between 10am and 6pm Monday-Saturday. If you are planning on arriving at a different time, give us a call at the shop (906) 337 - 4520 and we will meet you there.

Lives in Calumet Township, Michigan
Rick and I enjoy cross country skiing, biking of all types, and enjoying the natural and industrial history of the Keweenaw peninsula. The Airbnb apartments are located above our store, Cross Country Sports. The apartments have come a long way since we first lived upstairs in the 1980’s. By the late 1990’s we removed the orange shag carpet and revealed the hardwood floors beneath, among the other restorations we completed. The income from the Airbnb is put toward the maintenance and restoration of the building. Someday we hope to restore the flat above the warehouse of our store as well!
