I am lending a room of my 2-bedroom apartment for cheap, especially when you consider that:
ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED
THERE IS A FREE GARAGE FOR YOUR CAR
Or in case you don't have a car, there is a bus stop right in front of my apartment, from where you can get virtually anywhere you want, including Downtown LA, USC, and GCC.
In any case, it is conveniently located, so you can get to USC in 15-20 minutes by car, or in about an hour by bus. You can also get to Glendale Community College (GCC) in 5 minutes by car, or 7-8 minutes by bus. Americana shopping center is about 7 minutes away by car. Downtown LA is less than half an hour away. All the other major areas are pretty close by too.
Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are quiet too. Never had any problem with anyone. Loud music is virtually unheard of here. It is also safe and people are friendly too. Some of the reasons why I have lived here for past 8 years.
Kitchen has all the basic necessities: microwave oven, electric teapot, toaster, stove, refrigerator, and of course the good old sink. So in case you like to cook, you're welcome to.
The most important point to remember is that the people who have rented from me have stayed for long periods of time: a
year and a half, six months, and eight months. So I prefer long-term. But short-term is also fine: the last guy who stayed here has booked it for month and a half. The minimum stay is 1 month.
Thus, considering all of the above, 755$ a month for a room in this location is really cheap and you should hurry up before someone else has rented this room out.
You don't do drugs and would avoid doing them on the premises of my apartment, pot included. I do know that many people do it, but I like to keep my mind crystal clear.
You're not gonna accuse me of violating your freedom of expression right after I refuse to listen to your hour-long tirades about the evils of centralized government.
NO PETS OF ANY KIND, even if they have originated from some alien civilization.
You're not gonna rush into my room yelling: "Gotta see this video dude!"
Living room is also my workplace, so it is off-limits.
You're not gonna say that I should smoke pot to help my creative process. I do remember mentioning drugs already, but believe it or not, this case has been proved to be completely different.
You don't think you are a reincarnation of Dalai Lama.
You don't think you are Jesus Christ of 21st century.
In short, I am searching for a decent, quiet human being, not some crazy psycho who's gonna burn the whole place down. So if you believe that you are far from crazy and are interested in renting my room, you're welcome to reply to this ad.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The room was nice and quiet with a LARGE comfy bed and one window to the street and one to the back. No loud music or anything from either host Roman or the neighbors in the area, also no loud traffic or kids playing (wouldn't have minded the latter!) Washer and Dryer were easily accessible and easy to use. Also there is a small secluded area were you can dry your cloth in the sun, so really no need to use the dryer.
Roman is a pleasant host, who didn't disturb the privacy of my room and we had some nice conversations too and all in all i felt pretty welcomed here and would rent the room again :)
The last person who has rented from me has stayed in my apartment for 8 months and has moved out because he has moved in with his girlfriend.
So yes, I am positive, easy-going, friendly human being. Writer and student, as well as a budding filmmaker who has just finished his first short film.
I enjoy art and music, especially the movies of Fellini, Tarkovsky, Scorsese, and a few other filmmakers whose names don't come to my mind right now. When it comes to music, I enjoy classics the most - mostly Chaykovsky, Mozart, and Beethoven - though I also enjoy Bob Dylan, Dave Brubeck, Robbie Williams, Frank Sinatra, Kingdom Come, and sometimes 3 Doors Down. I don't listen to music very often though, and when I do, I listen to it on moderate volume, so most of the time it is very quiet inside my apartment, and I would expect you to keep it that way.
