Interaction with Guests
Caretaker will access the garage Thursday to take trash and recycle to the curb. Hot tub techs will be there before and after your stay unless it is a longer stay, then they will be there mid trip. You do not need to be present at the house for either.
Other Things to Note
Bear activity is high in the area. Keep hot tub door locked when not is use as those handles are easy for bears to manipulate. Keep ground level doors closed when not in sure. Do not place any trash or food outside.
No smoking of any kind.
This was an amazing listing & we had a lovely time. Deanna was great to coordinate with and very kind. The house is even better than what was listed in my personal opinion. It was great for our group size but even a bit big since we were missing some of the original folk - we had two families, a couple babies so the two master suites were perfect for them and then two other couples & 2 singles and as I said perfect. It was nice to cook together and be able to sit together, probaly my favorite parts! There were a couple of hiccups that I hate to mention but the 1st weekend we booked it ended up being double booked and had to move the following weekend but then some of my group couldn't come and that was disappointing, Deanna was very apologetic, a professional and don't expect or anticipate that ever something that happens again and she did get us on a great weekend with the winter carnival and secondly the fire alarm went off for over 30 mins on one of the mornings making sure everyone was out of bed :) and Deanna was great to send out someone immediately unfortunately didn't resolve it completely since it continued to go off through out the rest of the stay, but a much quicker alarm.
I'd book this place again in a heart beat, and work with Deanna over & over.
Deanna was very friendly from the get go. She was quick to respond to any questions I had.
We were in a group of 10 people and the house was big enough to accommodate all of us! The kitchen is definitely amazing. It had every appliance, utensils, and tools you will need.
The house is also VERY clean, a big PLUS in my book!
We definitely enjoyed our stay! We will be back!
Deanna was wonderful. The house was exactly as the pictures portrayed but it was the details that made our stay all the more amazing. Of all of the houses I've rented for vacations, never has one been so well equipped. The kitchen had every utensil, pot and pan necessary to make wonderful meals. Deanna's attention to detail and pride in her property came through with making a rental house feel like home-away-from-home. The house's setup is perfect for families with children or a group of friends (like us) who want to get away for the weekend.
My friends and I decided to find a really nice place to stay for a visit in Steamboat and this house delivered. From the large great room and beautiful connected kitchen to the very comfortable master bedrooms, we were extremely pleased with the accommodations. The host Deanna had the house looking spotless and she was quite nice; letting us check in a little early. Two pieces of advice: the bus stop is a good 10-15 minute walk in snowboard boots. The mountain is about a 25 minute walk. If you bring a car, do not get anything less than a 4 wheel drive SUV. The driveway can get icy and the mountain passes from Denver are challenging. All in all, highly recommend.

My family is into adventure. We live in a small high mountain town which puts us close to all the things we love....skiing, rafting, mountain biking, camping, hunting, and fishing. We are always on the go with all of our hobbies. We are probably the happiest people I know.
I own a cleaning and property management company which is the best job I've ever had. People are always happy to see me, happy to pay me, and always want me to come back. Thankfully I've got awesome employees which lets me be flexible to be at all my kids' events and to cater to my hobbies.
My husband is the love of my life. I knew as soon as I met him that this guy was going to be the funnest man I ever met. My kids are a blast! Great sense of humor and up for anything. We've been winter tent camping every winter since the youngest was 3. They are both big time skiers- one is free-style and the other a ski racer- but both also are Nordic jumpers. The summer is all about the river and getting back to town in time for baseball.
As a guest, we are minimalist and bring only what we need. Bringing too much stuff can really bog a trip down. It is a definite for us to leave your rental is excellent shape- after all it's what I do for a living.
As a host, I manage several rental properties. I just love the concept of putting people together that can meet each other's lodging needs. It really adds a lot to be able to read a little about each other before hand and to see pictures of each other. I use other sites to advertise my rentals, but none of them make it feel so personal.
