Studio In The Heart of The Mission!

Apartment - Entire home/apt · 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States

The Space

In late 2012 we completely renovated this unit to offer a private hotel experience in the heart of the most dynamic neighborhood in the San Francisco. Instead of sharing someone else's personal space our studio is purpose-built as a hotel room. So no dealing with other people's stuff. Plus, you have completely private entrances.

Located at the very center of The Mission District you're literally only steps away from the best restaurants, bars and shops in San Francisco. Plus, everything in the unit is brand new. Similar to a hotel room there's no kitchen but with everything from the best coffee on the west coast to James Beard Award-Winning restaurants only steps away you really wouldn't need one anyway.

You get a spacious studio apartment with its own entrance and bathroom. There's a full tile rain-head shower, mini-fridge, and space for your stuff. Super easy access to coin-op laundry is only 5 steps away. Not to mention free wifi and cable tv, a brand new queen-size bed and access to the easiest public transportation in town (BART, cabs, Muni, Caltrain, etc).

This is a perfect homebase for your San Francisco vacation or business trip.

  • We loved our stay at Dylan's studio. The location was exactly what we we hopping it would be, with great access to local hip restaurants and cafes and fun shops but at the same time super easy access to BART station where we could go direct to the airport when leaving. Dylan and his wife were very helpful with everything we needed, and the studio itself was very clean, comfortable and inviting. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed at a hotel in Union Square at a previous stay in San Francisco, and this was a much better experience than that. This area is not filled with tourist traps and the style of the studio is much more our style.

  • Dylan and Keelin are the perfect hosts and Studio Zero is absolutely adorable. It is in the heart of the most happening neighborhood and easily accessible via BART, highways, etc. You really couldn't ask for a better stay in San Francisco!

The place is very clean, bright, comfortable, and accommodating. I was in town for work so unfortunately not much time to enjoy the backyard space but what a great option for those visiting with more leisure time!

Long story short - I highly recommend Studio Zero as well as the owners Dylan and Keelin.

  • Dylan's studio was perfect for what we were looking for - a clean, convenient place to stay in a fun area that gave us a better feel for SF than staying in a hotel would have. Would recommend to friends, and would stay at this studio again next time I'm in San Francisco.

  • Dylan's apartment was in a perfect location to experience San Francisco! Bed was super comfy which was perfect after a long day of walking all around the Mission :) Space heater was also appreciated as it was chilly on a few nights! We would absolutely come again and stay at Dylan's place and also recommend to others!

  • We stayed at Dylan's place for two nights and it was great. They were very accommodating, as well as helpful when we needed food/drink recommendations. The studio was very clean! The location was one of the high-points of this studio. It can get a little noisy, but that is not uncommon for this area. Highly recommend Dylan's place for your getaway!

  • Just like all of the reviews below me, I had an awesome time at Dylan's place. His business partner Kevin met me on time, and was very accommodating in providing multiple referrals to the numerous bars and restaurants around the Mission district (all of which were delicious). Tartine Bakery, Bi-Rite Creamery, Dolores Park, Range, etc. were all some attractions within a short walk. The area was safe and lively, and there was always something to do or explore. Regarding the room itself, it was just as nice and modern as described. However, with so much to do in the area, we hardly used the room aside from showering and sleeping.

For those of you that want a non-touristy SF experience (ie. not staying in Union Square at a Holiday Inn), then I absolutely recommend staying here. You'll feel like a local in no time.

  • Perfect stay in a perfect location with a kind and helpful host. Great spot to explore San Francisco. Clean and modern apartment. Really great. Thanks Dylan.

  • I stayed at Dylan's studio for one night while I was in town for work. The location really is perfect for the Mission and very close to lots of great restaurants. It feels more like a hotel room than other Airbnb places I have stayed at--as it just a bedroom with a small desk and a bathroom. The accommodations were comfortable--bed and shower were very nice and clean. It was noisy at night. I put some white noise on and was still woken up by the street noise.

  • Dylan's listing is exactly what I needed. A great, comfortable bed, television, iron, lovely shower and close to all the action.

Dylan was very communicative and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The check in/out process was smooth.

I would highly recommend this listing for anyone that is used to a hotel set up. It's perfect.

  • Great stay at Dylan's. Modern decor, great bathroom/shower, and comfortable studio. I love the location -- this apt is within steps from Tartine (an awesome bakery) and Delfina (amazing italian restaurant) among other great restaurants in the Mission. The apartment also has access to a spacious and beautiful backyard. Definitely coming back!
