About This Listing
In late 2012 we completely renovated this unit to offer a private hotel experience in the heart of the most dynamic neighborhood in the San Francisco. Instead of sharing someone else's personal space our studio is purpose-built as a hotel room. So no dealing with other people's stuff. Plus, you have completely private entrances.
Located at the very center of The Mission District you're literally only steps away from the best restaurants, bars and shops in San Francisco. Plus, everything in the unit is brand new. Similar to a hotel room there's no kitchen but with everything from the best coffee on the west coast to James Beard Award-Winning restaurants only steps away you really wouldn't need one anyway.
You get a spacious studio apartment with its own entrance and bathroom. There's a full tile rain-head shower, mini-fridge, and space for your stuff. Super easy access to coin-op laundry is only 5 steps away. Not to mention free wifi and cable tv, a brand new queen-size bed and access to the easiest public transportation in town (BART, cabs, Muni, Caltrain, etc).
This is a perfect homebase for your San Francisco vacation or business trip.
If we're booked, check out our friends' awesome place just a few blocks away: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1271318
Private garden with BBQ, table and chairs.
The best neighborhood in San Francisco
Interaction is minimal. We'll get you checked in and make any recommendations you need. Other than that, you've got the place to yourself.
Check-in is 3pm.
Check-out is 12pm.
This is an actual apartment in a 5 unit building. Please be aware of your neighbors for your short stay: Quiet past 10pm, make sure to lock the front gate and no smoking in the unit.
And please don't steal the things from the studio. That's not cool.
As a first time user of Airbnb, I was a little cautious using the system however Dylan was more then helpful in walking me through the reservation process and answering any questions I had with it.
Upon my arrival, Dylan greeted me and showed me around the studio, giving me a brief run down of everything including some local places to eat and things to do.
I was very happy with the studio and with the service Dylan gave and give the location of the studio is very close to public transport would be more then happy to recommend this place to anyone in the future.
My husband and I stayed at Dylan's studio once a couple of years ago, and we were really pleased to see it available when we visited San Francisco last June. It has everything you need--a big comfortable bed, great minimalist modern decor, and a wonderful shower (given CA's water restrictions, we took brief showers, but it has a fantastic design.) The studio could not be in a better location, right in the middle of the Mission District next to some of the best cafes, stores, and restaurants and near the BART stop. At the same time, it is tucked away from the roar of the street, giving peaceful seclusion.
Great location. Very fun place to explore the Mission District fun. Boutique shopping and lots of dining options nearby. Dylan was easy to work with and very responsive.
We needed to check in early so Dylan's wife Keelin was able to accommodate us and let us put our bags in the room while it was getting cleaned. The studio is as pictured. The location was perfect. It was close to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and Dolores Park. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was some remodeling going on when we were there so the hallway leading up to the room did have a foul odor.
Easy in & out. Great location. Very nice yard with washer & dryer. They were not listed as part of the studio so the description was correct but improvements - a microwave & couch would be nice.
