In late 2012 we completely renovated this unit to offer a private hotel experience in the heart of the most dynamic neighborhood in the San Francisco. Instead of sharing someone else's personal space our studio is purpose-built as a hotel room. So no dealing with other people's stuff. Plus, you have completely private entrances.
Located at the very center of The Mission District you're literally only steps away from the best restaurants, bars and shops in San Francisco. Plus, everything in the unit is brand new. Similar to a hotel room there's no kitchen but with everything from the best coffee on the west coast to James Beard Award-Winning restaurants only steps away you really wouldn't need one anyway.
You get a spacious studio apartment with its own entrance and bathroom. There's a full tile rain-head shower, mini-fridge, and space for your stuff. Super easy access to coin-op laundry is only 5 steps away. Not to mention free wifi and cable tv, a brand new queen-size bed and access to the easiest public transportation in town (BART, cabs, Muni, Caltrain, etc).
This is a perfect homebase for your San Francisco vacation or business trip.

Just like all of the reviews below me, I had an awesome time at Dylan's place. His business partner Kevin met me on time, and was very accommodating in providing multiple referrals to the numerous bars and restaurants around the Mission district (all of which were delicious). Tartine Bakery, Bi-Rite Creamery, Dolores Park, Range, etc. were all some attractions within a short walk. The area was safe and lively, and there was always something to do or explore. Regarding the room itself, it was just as nice and modern as described. However, with so much to do in the area, we hardly used the room aside from showering and sleeping.
For those of you that want a non-touristy SF experience (ie. not staying in Union Square at a Holiday Inn), then I absolutely recommend staying here. You'll feel like a local in no time.
Perfect stay in a perfect location with a kind and helpful host. Great spot to explore San Francisco. Clean and modern apartment. Really great. Thanks Dylan.
I stayed at Dylan's studio for one night while I was in town for work. The location really is perfect for the Mission and very close to lots of great restaurants. It feels more like a hotel room than other Airbnb places I have stayed at--as it just a bedroom with a small desk and a bathroom. The accommodations were comfortable--bed and shower were very nice and clean. It was noisy at night. I put some white noise on and was still woken up by the street noise.
Dylan's listing is exactly what I needed. A great, comfortable bed, television, iron, lovely shower and close to all the action.
Dylan was very communicative and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The check in/out process was smooth.
I would highly recommend this listing for anyone that is used to a hotel set up. It's perfect.
Great stay at Dylan's. Modern decor, great bathroom/shower, and comfortable studio. I love the location -- this apt is within steps from Tartine (an awesome bakery) and Delfina (amazing italian restaurant) among other great restaurants in the Mission. The apartment also has access to a spacious and beautiful backyard. Definitely coming back!
Dylan's place within the Mission area of San Francisco is amazing and perfect for a short city break in what is one of the coolest areas of San Francisco!
Very clean and complete with all that anyone would need for a short break (comfy bed, storage space, power shower etc), and the location is just perfect for checking out all the Mission has to offer as you are literally right in the heart of the area!
Transport links to other San Francisco areas are close, but walking around is also possible since nothing is too far away!
Street parking can be difficult but there is a secure parking garage only 2 blocks away if you can't find a free street spot.
Nothing bad to say about this little gem and I would recommend it for sure! Perfect for couples wanting a few days in San Francisco!
Had a great stay in the mission at Dylan's. Right in the heart of everything, in walking distance to all the restaurants I wanted to check out. This was our first experience with Airbnb and it won't be the last! Dylan was always super responsive to any questions I had- we didn't meet but I met his wife who was great. Thanks for everything!
The only place to stay in SF! Truely amazing. I felt like i was in a super hip 5 star hotel right in the heart of everything.
We loved everything about Dylan's place! The location is great, felt very safe- and it was very clean. It can get a little but noisy, but I doubt you'll find a place this great that can't. Dylan was quick to respond and let us park his car out front the night we got there and the night we were leaving. It wasn't that hard to find a spot otherwise. The bed is very comfortable and the shower very entertaining!
For great ice cream, go down 18th towards Guerro to Bi-rite creamery! Dinner and tacolicious down the street on Valencia was insanely good too. Book with Dylan, you won't be disappointed!
A great place to stay. Very lively, hip neighborhood. The apartment is clean with interesting modern design elements. Dylan is a responsive, warm host: the apartment was a little cold so he went out and bought a space heater and delivered it to the apartment within an hour. With the heater, the apartment was very comfortable. We even received some great tips for coffee and restaurants in the neighborhood. Nothing but great things to say about this place!
