Both myself and my husband Ted are Foresters from British Columbia, Canada. we live the small rural community of Bouchie Lake 15 km. west of Quesnel in north Central BC. We too are AirBnB Hosts. Our trip to Scotland in the summer of 2019 allowed us a chance to try AirBnB "from the other side" and it has been a fabulous experience. We also "AirBnB'ed" in Nova Scotia (Cape Breton) in the fall of 2019; a place we wish to return to soon.
We have met many wonderful people and stayed in all sorts of accommodation ranging from fully equipped houses where we had the run, to rooms in a private house, to private rooms in a "hostel". We live on a farm (Moose Meadows Farm) and enjoy our lives with many 4-legged friends. We love to travel and so far have traveled, together, to the UK 2x and across Canada several times. In 2018, we "yellowheaded" it to Winnipeg and back to visit a friend. Ted is originally from New Brunswick, Canada whereas Heloise grew up in south-western British Columbia. Heloise has also travelled to New Zealand and continental Europe long before AirBnB existed.
