Welcome to our 45 sqm designer apartment right on the Champs Elysées!
This apartment has been renovated and restyled at the start of 2012 and is as gorgeous as it looks! If you want to stay on the Champs Elysees this is the place for you!
There is an elevator leading up to the fourth floor, so there is absolutely no issue with heavy luggage you may bring with you.
The layout is the following:
-A large living/dining/sitting space including a double bed and a sofa bed. Next to that you will find a small, fully equipped kitchenette and a separate large bathroom.
This results in a total capacity of 4 guests, although the flat is really ideal for 2 guests.
Of course there is heating, Internet, international TV channels. Sheets and towels are provided for you to be able to have the most relaxing stay as possible.
The flat is very quiet as the large sitting room window does not overlook busy Champs Elysées but the roof of the commercial gallery (Starbucks etc) instead.
If you take the elevator back down, you will find shoe shops, cafés, restaurants, Levis etc right at your door step. The Claridge hotel shares the same entrance. The closest grocery store is Monoprix about 100 meters away.
Access by car is very easy as the ring road is less than 1km away (Porte Dauphine or Porte Maillot). You are also ideally located for arrivals at CDG and Orly airports. (Air France direct bus service)

The location is amazing, you are walking distance away from some of the greatest places in Paris, restaurants, bars, parcs. It is also very conveniently located for access to/from both airports and all major train stations.

There are no strict house rules apart the usual ones: Apartments in Paris are often located in old buildings where noise insulation is quite poor. Please respect the neighbours by avoiding being too loud (music, high heeled shoes, loud arguing, banging doors). If you do this all will be well!
Check-in and check-out are flexible to a large extent:
Check-in is usually between 2pm and 8pm
Check-out is usually before noon
We can set a mutually convenient time after the booking is confirmed. If there is no previous or following tenant you may arrive earlier than 2pm or stay later than noon respectively. This needs to be validated on a case by case basis a couple of days prior to you leaving/arriving.
Early Check-in: Between 10am and 2pm
Late Check-in: Between 8pm and 10pm
Late Check-out: Between noon and 4pm.
For early/late check-in/out, there is a 50 EUR cash fee due on arrival.
Equally, if you are running more than 45 minutes behind the previously agreed check in time there is a 50 EUR cash fee to compensate for logistical changes.
I've been absolutely disappointed with an apartment: it's placed in quite old and dirty building, under the Paris Passage. So don't be surprised to have 24hours of promenade and sometimes even very active disco during the night under you windows. Building is used just for offices and A lot of them under construction during the day time. As for apartment, it's very small apprx. 20sq.m. and not so clean as mentioned. It had strong smell of smoking and moreover carpet had an odor of urine. Didn't stay myself more then one day and would never recommend to others.
This apartment has been rented across various booking platforms recently and the reviews have been very positive every time. If you search you will find them. As a result, as a host, I am very surprised that on this occasion the flat didn’t suit the guest.
Oksana from Ukraine threatened to leave a purposefully bad review on Airbnb if I didn’t offer her full reimbursement after she abruptly decided to leave.
Oksana also admitted that she had never stayed in apartments before and that she always chose hotels on her previous stays in Paris.
I believe I have done my best, like for every rental, before and after the arrival to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction given human and practical constraints.
Still, below, I will address each item mentioned by Oksana the day we met or in this review:
1. One carpet smells badly > I offered to take it away
2. There was noise at night > I inquired with the 24 hour building security service and was told no incidents or calls about noise had been logged that night. I offered the number to Oksana for her to call if there was noise during the second night.
3. Smell of smoke. I didn’t smell it and it was never brought up previously.
4. Dirty, old building > It's typically Parisian and was built 100 years ago...
5. Building used for office space > The building holds a mix of apartments and offices.
6. Size of the apartment. > The size is 40 square meters and not 20.
7. Cleanliness of flat > I personally supervised the cleaning, still I
would have offered an extra cleaning if this point had been raised earlier.
