Victoria's place may have the best view in all of Falmouth. It has a great view from almost every room and has all the necessities for a comfortable week. The town is absolutely beautiful and this apartment is in walking distance to every major point in town. It is bright and comfortable. My only complaint is that being in an old building, the floors are very creaky and the neighbor below complained twice about us moving around the apartment. Having two young children the week got a little stifling trying to keep them from running around or moving around from room to room so we felt forced to leave most of the day. You will not regret renting this home, it really is a beautiful, bright home that makes you feel like you're right at the bay even if you're inside!

A great find and really good value for money. The view cannot be exaggerated - it's even better than it looks in the photos. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. One thing to note is I guess the travel cot isn't actually kept at the apartment so make sure you tell Victoria specifically if you want to use it.

The view from this apartment is amazing, ever changing and incredible at sunrise. It's a great location as a base for exploring Cornwall, and a huge benefit to have the parking space. The bedroom was very comfortable, and loved the style of the lounge area. Falmouth is a lovely town, and just a short walk from the apartment to the harbour where there are lots of nice shops and places to eat. We definitely recommend Pendennis Castle on a day when they have activities for children too! Unfortunately, as another reviewer mentioned, there is an issue with the downstairs neighbour that Victoria is looking in to resolving. However until this and a few other minor issues are resolved, I personally wouldn't recommend it for families with young children.

Highly recommended place to stay. We spent 7 nights and loved it! The location is literally 5 minutes walk to the town centre (although it is a bit harder walking back because of the hill!). The views are stunning from the living space and main bedroom, the photos can't do it justice - a great view to wake up to each morning. The other massive benefit is the parking space which can fit pretty much any sized car, this was hugely beneficial during our stay. The roads leading up to it are quite tight, as is the turn in when cars park opposite, but that's not uncommon at all around Cornwall. The apartment itself is nice, in particular the lounge / kitchen, which is a decent space. Just be aware that the sofa is only really big enough for 2 so worth noting if you bring kids (there was only 2 of us), it has been changed since the photo we saw. The kitchen is well equipped with pretty much everything you need, although there isn't a freezer (which we would only have used for ice cubes!), there was even milk and a few essential groceries awaiting us on arrival which is a nice touch. The bathroom is the only area that could be improved, whilst there is nothing wrong with it in principle, it doesn't really inspire as much as the other areas, it is a little tatty in places but nothing to be concerned with - after all it is only the bathroom! The main bedroom was a good size, bed very comfy and an ok wardrobe for our needs. We didn't use the second bedroom but seemed fine, if not a little compact. The host was good, responses were in good time in the main and proved helpful (good tip around St Ives parking!). The only slight issue we had was a request from the host a good few months after we booked and paid to move the dates (we booked Wednesday to Wednesday, which was accepted, whereas the bookings were only supposed to be Saturday to Saturday), however once we explained we had other plans already booked then Victoria was very accommodating. Overall we would definitely recommend to stay, we had a lovely time exploring Falmouth and the surrounding areas.

The location of this apartment is fantastic. You get a fantastic view to relax or eat in front of plus the shops and attractions of Falmouth are only 10 mins walk away. We also got out to the Eden Project, Paradise Park and attractions in Falmouth (lovely beaches, maritime museum and Pendennis Castle). Communication was very easy with our host and lovely little touches were made to help us feel welcome. There are also a few handy conveniences there, should you be staying with a little one. A black out blind, washing machine, fridge (no freezer), TV and DVD, bath and shower, a large main bedroom with more of the harbour view and lots of getting ready space (plus wardrobe, chair and bedside tables) and a separate second bedroom (with bunk beds and space for a travel cot). Perfect for a couple or family with 1 or 2 young children - so long as you're prepared for a steep walk home from Falmouth centre.
