Thank you for choosing to stay with us. To make your visit most enjoyable here are a few tips
The thermostat regulating the house temperature is located on the wall separating the dining room from the living room (near the end of the table). The forced air system is old and not very effective in heating all the rooms. There is a small electric heater at the end of your bed, which you may use as an additional heat source.
To help us preserve energy please make sure that all heaters are turned off when you are not in the house.
To connect to our WIFI
Network name: provided upon check-in
Password: provided upon check-in
We do not subscribe to cable or Satellite and don’t receive any broadcast signal, meaning that the only use for the TV on top of the bookshelf is to watch videos. There is a box with a small movie collection in the closet for your enjoyment.
We have made several drawers in the bathroom cabinet available for your personal items. The bottom right cabinet (closest to the toilet) has spare toilet paper and fresh towels.
Please do not use the bathtub.
Washer and Dryer
A Washer and Dryer are located in the garage (door off the kitchen) and are available for your use. The washer has a peculiar operating function that I best explain in person. Don’t hesitate to ask.
Living room/Safety Lights
We tend to keep the blinds in the living room closed at night and when no one is at home. To lower and raise the blinds please use the cord on the left of each individual blind (we have tied up the right side cord to avoid confusion). We also keep the porch light on at night. It operates with the left of the two switches next to the front door.
I had a very nice and comfortable stay at ralf. He is very kind and knows a lot about san fransisco and around!! His place is clean and cosy. Even with jetlag i slept very well.
Thank you very much. If i come back to sf then for sure i will try again to stay in his house!!
Ralf was an Amazing host! He was so very accommodating when I had some travel mishaps that I cannot thank him enough! Ralf is extremely knowledgeable about the area and even offered me some guide books so that I could explore with ease! The house was in a great location and my room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the dogs that he and his son were sitting to no end-all guests should be aware that there are dogs on this property and should be pet friendly. I am very happy with my experience here and would highly recommend it to any future traveler! Ralf will make sure you will have a wonderful stay!
Ralf Travis is an excellent, welcoming host. He makes you feel right at home. The room is awesomely decorated and it has a sliding glass door attached to it that goes out to the garden. This is a hidden gem in the Richmond Hills and You'll be so satisfied staying here! His house in general is very inviting :)
Ralf was a fantastic host, even though I arrived past my check in date and had days unused. Homey feel and very welcoming.
Travis is a fantastic host, and made me feel right at home as soon as I got there. Travis is an all around awesome human being - he was very interesting to talk to and knows a huge amount about what to see and do in the area which he was happy to share with me. The listing was definitely as advertised, the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and uniquely situated on a beautiful hillside. It's also close to the freeway and to the BART, allowing quick access to transport all across the Bay. The space was very nice and cozy, and access to their wonderful garden was certainly a plus.
