Thank you for choosing to stay with us. To make your visit most enjoyable here are a few tips
The thermostat regulating the house temperature is located on the wall separating the dining room from the living room (near the end of the table). The forced air system is old and not very effective in heating all the rooms. There is a small electric heater at the end of your bed, which you may use as an additional heat source.
To help us preserve energy please make sure that all heaters are turned off when you are not in the house.

We do not subscribe to cable or Satellite and don’t receive any broadcast signal, meaning that the only use for the TV on top of the bookshelf is to watch videos. There is a box with a small movie collection in the closet for your enjoyment.
We have made several drawers in the bathroom cabinet available for your personal items. The bottom right cabinet (closest to the toilet) has spare toilet paper and fresh towels.
Please do not use the bathtub.
Washer and Dryer
A Washer and Dryer are located in the garage (door off the kitchen) and are available for your use. The washer has a peculiar operating function that I best explain in person. Don’t hesitate to ask.
Living room/Safety Lights
We tend to keep the blinds in the living room closed at night and when no one is at home. To lower and raise the blinds please use the cord on the left of each individual blind (we have tied up the right side cord to avoid confusion). We also keep the porch light on at night. It operates with the left of the two switches next to the front door.
Travis is a fantastic host, and made me feel right at home as soon as I got there. Travis is an all around awesome human being - he was very interesting to talk to and knows a huge amount about what to see and do in the area which he was happy to share with me. The listing was definitely as advertised, the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and uniquely situated on a beautiful hillside. It's also close to the freeway and to the BART, allowing quick access to transport all across the Bay. The space was very nice and cozy, and access to their wonderful garden was certainly a plus.
Even though I made super last minute reservation He was kind and accommodating. He responded very quickly. Thank you thank you for being a wonderful host!
Ralf was a wonderful host. My room was lovely and very comfortable. He went above and beyond when my car broke down and left me stranded in a new city! I highly recommend Ralf for a welcoming stay in a great location.
Travis is a very gracious and welcoming host. He seems to truly enjoy sharing his home and getting to know his guests. His home is lovely (shared with his polite son who I rarely saw) with warm artwork adorning every wall. He often played soft classical or jazz music in the kitchen which was lovely to wake up to. The kitchen itself is well-lit and large, with every convenience you could wish for. The guest bed was comfortable and the house was kept warm. I highly recommend staying with Travis!
