The riad has been my "home" away from home for several days. I traveled solo and as a woman I always felt very safe there. There was a misunderstanding at my arrival but Jawed helped a lot and all was soon forgotten. Just remember to always follow his instructions. He showed me the way to arrive to the riad from the Jamma el Fna square, across the narrow streets of the Medina. From there on, it was very easy for me to find the way alone. Jawed also showed me where to buy what I was looking for, came with me and suggested some great and affordable places to eat at the square. Back to the riad at night, children play outside and there is a little shop in the corner where you can buy cold water and other daily things you might need, like soap. The other guests in the riad have been very discreet and it was peaceful most of the time. The rooms don't have windows to the street, they have two little windows to the common patio, so even though you'll be in the middle of the action, it will always be calm. Most rooms have their private bathroom with a walk-in shower. My room was very dark even during the day as it was in the lower level and lamps were too weak, so if you need to write or read you better use the big table right outside. The WIFI signal was weak and sometimes inexistent. There are many stairs but they helped me with my luggage at all times. The second room was awesome, they all have big confortable beds and a fan during the hot season. The roof is perfect for breakfast and to relax at night. If I ever go back to Marrakech, this is the place where I want to stay. If you need to rest, this is your place. I had a few naps there. Jawed has been a wonderful and dedicated host and you'll be in good hands with him. Amina is the sweetest woman who will prepare your breakfast and put a smile on your face every morning.

Jawad's place was amazing! He made everything clear and gave us a very warm welcome, helping us with directions, negociating in the souk and what to visit. The place in itself is an absolute palace, gorgeous decoration, amazing breakfast and welcome by Amina and Jawad. Everything is comfortable, we even had the AC in our room for a 5€ supplement. The riad is perfectly located, very calm but still 2 minutes from the souk and 5 minutes from Jema Al-Fna (all walking distance). We had an AMAZING experience there, would definitely recommend to stay at Jawad's! It is the perfect mix between understanding the Moroccan culture and being comfortable as a tourist.

Jawad kindly arranged transport for us to our accommodation which was friendly. He met us nearby and we walked with him into the Medina. The apartment was perfect for us, clean and quiet. Having not traveled to Marrakesh before we had no idea where we were going so he kindly explained our where about's and showed me how to find the city square where everything happens and it was about a five minute walk which again was perfect for us. We were given a very sweet breakfast which was made for us every morning. Jawad recommended us to a local spa and booked us in which was brilliant and highly recommend this too. All in all we loved our time with Jawad and Marrakesh so would thoroughly recommend this place to stay! He personally drove us to the airport and we stopped to see the camels on the way which made our trip that even a little bit better. Thank you Jawad!

THE PLACE This Riad was excellent. First thing I would say is that it was Cold at night in Marrakech and it was so great to have in room heaters, and a common room that was sealed off from the outside by glass doors. The location was excellent for being inside the Medina and among the souks. Quiet at night but right in the action. With double doors to the outside safety and security was certainly felt. The beds were comfy, the showers and bathrooms excellent and Amina our housekeep was AMAZING. Each morning we had the most delicious Orange Juice, different breads, crapes and coffee. She would have our b-fast ready at any time that was convenient for us. DEFINITELY TRY HER DINNER - we asked to have a dinner in one night and Amina made the most delicious assortment of Moroccan Salads and an amazing Lamb Tajine...sooo good!!! THE HOST What can I say about Jawad except - AWESOME!! from the moment we started communicating on airbnb he was quick to respond, provided thorough information and was very flexible in making our arrangements perfect. He arranged Airport Pick Up and it was so nice to get off the plane and be greeted by a man with a sign. During our stay he was the perfect host: he gave us the space we needed but always checked in to see if he could help. One morning we woke up at 10am and wanted to do an excursion for camel riding and he made it happen that same day. Jawad is there to escort you if needed, guide you when lost and just be a great resource for any of your needs. He is the perfect Concierge for a AirBNB setting. If you are considering 2 airbnb places, Jawad is a huge asset that should not be overlooked. So Cool!
